Spies vs Mercs is a Halo 5 forge project to capture the 2v2 magic of classic Splinter Cell multiplayer from Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory.
This 2v2 mode has far more nuance than your standard slayer match, so do not expect to gain a full grasp of the ins and outs on your first play session. Map knowledge is a key factor in victory in Spies vs Mercs. Where are the cameras located? What kind of traps do spies have to circumvent? What locations are the best spots for merc defense? Don’t worry…you’ll get it eventually 
Nothing has been tested or balanced for more than 2v2.
Spies sneak around with their cloaking and non-lethal pistols, disabling cameras and hacking terminals.
Mercs defend the terminals with superior firepower and traps. They spawn in protected armories full of advanced weaponry to give them an edge on the sneaky assassins.
Camera systems guard each objective terminal. If a spy enters their field of vision, mercs will be alerted to their exact position. Spies can temporarily disable cameras by shooting them with their EMP pistol.
Various other traps like proximity mines, tripmines, laser grid alarms, pressure sensitive floors and more must be circumnavigated for spies to gain victory.
