Same here. I love all the armor in halo, but I especially love the older stuff the Spartan 2’s used.
Helmet: Almost assuredly Soldier; it’s the closest to the Mark VI Rogue variant my character wears in personal canon [and wore in Halo 3].
Body: This is where I have no answer as of now. I’m guessing they’re bringing back at least 60% of the Halo 4 armory, plus what appears likely to be vastly more than that in new sets based on comments made by staff.
I have also generally had mismatched pauldrons in every game -in Halo 4, I don’t think any two pieces shared a base set- so I’m really at a total loss for ideas until I actually get to see a good majority of the available armor sets. Likely if there’s sets that have asymmetrical pauldrons and semi-bulky legs it’s going to be one of those. From what I know, however, I’m likely to start out with HUNTER or Mark VI [Damaged].
I’m going to be using the good ol’ MK VI. Or if it’s possible, MK VI [Gen2].
If it’s available…probably Vales Copperhead armor or EVA.

Probably the Athlon suit, before I acquire that, perhaps the Nightfall one.

Sticking with the Mark VI. Hoping there’s a gold visor we can use in multiplayer.
If I could I would run around with no armour and be just in undies like the old ghouls and ghost games.
That’s a hard question. It will probably come down to either Athlon, or Noble for the helmet (unless something new catches my eye), and I have no idea for the armor.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the mk IV, so I’ll be rocking that
ODST helmet ( Since Halo 3)

It’s a toss up between Warrior and Mark VI for me.
