So me and a friend have been talking to each other and have noticed that some armor and helmets have a third color in them and that this color cant be changed and just as an example the viper uncommon armor has allot of white in it and that cant be changed and as for helmets things like the strider have allot of white and the orbital perihelion have a stripe on it that again cant be changed as far as i can tell allot of armors and helmets have these third colors in them and we have been thinking if it would be possible for 343 industries to make a third color option to be active when a helmet or armor was selected that had a third color but be separate for the ability to have a helmet with such as the strider helmet to have a combo such as pepper steel and the decal be like red or any color in the base game and same goes for the armor. i think it would look something like this as a base skeleton for it.

Color [whatever color you might have]
Helmet Decal Color [whatever decal color you might have]
Armor Decal Color [whatever decal color you might have]
Light Decal Color [whatever decal color you might have]
and also my friend said that he would also think it would be nice to color the little lights on the armor as u could in halo 3 but it be different than your primary color. that is why there is a light decal spot up above.
so yeah if any one agrees just comment on this this is the first time I’ve done anything like this so does any one know how to send something like this to 343 or do they read the topics that are posted some feedback would be nice if u could just comment this and i will check daily to look at the replies thanks that is all. Yeah I think those forced colors weren’t received well. But I’d prefer an option to change the undersuit, if anything
The white outlines on some armours are a bit odd and seem randomly splashed on, on a few they look decent but I agree that being able to colour these’d work a lot better. Changing the lights’d be different and definitely personal but I don’t think I’ve ever noticed the lights so that’s probably a no go sadly (saying that I don’t speak for everyone and especially not 343), some people may notice them like yourself but I never have.

What are your thoughts on this?
There should be an option to input RGB values to get the colour you want, thanks to the precision.
But most importantly, there should be an option to remove armor detailing (white decals especially) to get a cleaner look.
i agree with everything you all have said if u have any additional ideas just post them and if u can let me know if it is possible to send requests like this to 343 and if so let me know how thanks and ill send the request to them personally thanks

i know it was not me who said that it was one of my friends in halo who notices them i really could care less but i think it would also be cool if u could do that but make them brighter ,dimmer, or just not there at all but thanks for the input
