Halo 5 Space Battles (somewhat confirmed)

At the end of the “The Story” section in the article, it says "After getting the run-down, we were shown a brief campaign teaser. It moved so fast it was hard to point anything out. That being said, what my eyes feasted upon was jaw dropping: massive enemies, space battles, and more. I saw Hunters forming from worms (Lekgolo) on the ground, Banshees flying past a space station, and a flying Forerunner vehicle shooting at a massive covenant station (it almost looked like a mining rig). The scale was unlike anything we’ve seen in Halo, specifically the giant vehicle scene. There were vehicles flying around, Covenant shooting plasma through the air, and explosions illuminating the landscape. It was hard not to get excited. We watched it twice. I am very certain that the space banshee scene was a playable experience. Halo 5: Space Battles.

I’m guessing we’re going to see something similar to this at E3 with this new teased epic multiplayer mode that incorporates all of the sandbox of Halo.

Just read the article.

If Halo 5 were to have such large scale space battles, then I’d be sooo happy…

On a more serious note, wouldn’t that mean that the set of aerial/spacefaring vehicles would have to be dramatically expanded upon in order to get some diversity in there? The implications if this were to be true are awesome, let’s hope the ever-nearing E3 will be able to confirm this stuff for us.

And this is why campaign will always be the most important aspect of any Halo game, to me at least.

Seriously, 343. Just take my money and give me the game now. Not even joking. What do I have to do (and don’t say wait until October)?

YEA YEA YEA yea… I’m so hyped

If Halo 5 has full scale Space Battles in Multiplayer, Then that would not only be freakin’ sweet! But it would also be a massive middle finger to Star Wars Battlefront.

Do it 343.

Hey at this point EA definitely deserves it, truth be told.

I kind of agree with you I love the campaigns , I would say multiplayer is pretty important too though.
Both are shaping up to be the best of any of the games so far imo definitely the Campaign.

Yeah but the game, in the minds of general gamers and some hardcore fans, has become a CoD esque game, where campaign is just cause it has to be there and multiplayer is the focus. But, starting with CE and all the way to now, campaign has always been a very important part of the game

For 343 (developers) both coop, campaign and MP are equally important, thats how the game is made. MP just needs a bit more attention in the technicall side because well its online, but campaign takes more in imagination and art. Both have equal importance, there’s just the people who play online, others who play SP.
You just hear more of MP because its an “online\social thing” where campaign its more of a personal thing, something you feel through the story, so its normal
