I have still been experiencing slow aim in Halo 5. It works perfectly fine then is all of a sudden becomes slow randomly. This constantly puts off my aim. I experimented with this and when holding the right stick to the right I found that it would suddenly slow down for no reason, the same for left. This generally happened in the direction of enemies which were behind walls. Even when there are no enemies nearby it still happens randomly. I doubt its my controller as I have tried multiple controllers and still have the same issue. Anyone else experiencing this?
Have you tried changing the new dead zone options under controller settings?

Yup, doesn’t seem to make a difference. I think it’s weird because it does it randomly. It would be fine for most of the game then it would go slow all of a sudden. Thanks anyway

Is this happening in all games or just Halo 5: Guardians?

This might sound stupid, but change your televisions picture mode to game.

I play on a BenQ monitor. What we are talking about is not input lag as input lag is not random but constant. This is our aim randomly becomes really slow like we are dragging the cursor through the mud.
This game has the worst aiming system ever. The acceleration is always present… no matter wgat settings you put it on. On a quick right stick flick, it start slow, then speeds up. You can have aceleration on 5, 15 outer dead zone, and 0 inner dead zone, the game always responds with sluggish then quick.
The funny thing is, the single player aims PERFECTLY. Why not just bring the same aiming to the multiplayer? The beta aimed like the singke player, but now the “pros” got a hold of the game, and now it turned to -Yoink-.

This. I have zero problem with aim in campaign but it’ll randomly go in the toilet in MP.
