What’s up soldiers itsa me again. This time I need your best strategies, tips, and overall help with slayer! I’m not the worst I’m pretty decent I’d say but I don’t want to fall behind. So please help me out it’d mean a lot!

I always try not to suck. Usually doesn’t work out for me.
best tip is play with a team and as a team. There’s plenty of strat vids on YouTube about how to approach each map and game mode.

Map Control: Over time you will learn certain strats that will help you gain the advantage in matches and how to control power weapons.

Timing Powerups: Camo and OS each spawn 2 minutes after pickup in slayer maps. Always time and contest these. Using them will give you an advantage.

Play With a Squad: Nowadays, the only people playing the Slayer playlist are teams of 4s (if not all then a lot are). Playing with other people can give more information and coordination.

Youtube Videos: Check out some youtube videos on these topics. They can explain way more than I’m able to on these forums. It’s easier to see actual footage. Check out Shyway, Proximitty, Paradise Halo, and Luciid TW. They’re some others aswell.
Don’t forget about controlling the power weapon as well.
I’ve just had the most frustrating 2 days on the game…
2 days ago I had my usual 1.0 K/D for the current season of ranked Slayer (which I’m pretty happy with) and then over the last 2 days every single game, whether I win or lose, I end up with a negative K/D.
I’ve literally gone from +20 to -65 in the space of 2 days!
So my tip would be to take your time, not run around like a mad man and avoid dying as much as possible lol
Sticking with your team mates obviously helps a lot too.
Edit: I should say that I play solo so I think it’s always a bit harder for lone players like me. If you can play in a fireteam with others it’ll help a lot based on my past experience.
Playing solo the best thing you can do is become observant of where and what your Team are doing, so you can support them or do the thing they aren’t doing that needs to be done.
A lot of it comes down to practicing your aim also which will come with time. Then you just need to learn the best strategies for each map and maybe some good spots to be, or jumps that cut out parts of the map. All available on YouTube of you search up the map and strategy for instance although over time you pick this up seeing people do these things in game.
Plenty of times someone will surprise me with something and I will work out how they did it. They got to the powerup from spawn so much quicker, how? That sort of thing.
Yep, same here. Go into theater mode and watch and learn.
vaguely aim for the head and chances are you will win that engagement, I’m so good sometimes when I shoot center mass I still get a headshot medal.
Straffing is key. Be patient to engage opposition
Play alone, FFA if is possible and Swat, you can improve doing this hundred of times dude.
