So quick question. I haven’t played halo 5 in a while and i noticed the master control skin is pretty awesome looking. I know I am super late to the party when asking this but how does one acquire said Master Control skin?
The Master Control skins can be acquired through Silver Packs. Prepare for a lot of grinding, though.
Okay cool. Thank you. Follow up question what is the difference between what you get with god req packs and silver, because when i would play a lot i would always save up for gold req packs but get basic stuff like weapons and vehicles for war zone.

Gold packs will offer you a chance to get uncommon, rare ultra rare, or legendary reqs while silvers only offer common, uncommon, and rare. That being said gold packs don’t garuntee better items and you often end up getting silver pack items for double the cost. The fastest way to get everything would be to buy silvers until you have all the common uncommon and rare reqs and then start opening gold packs.

Well i have a lot of req points saved up so i was going to try and get to 100,000 req points so i can dedicate time to just opening silver req packs Also on average how many silver req packs need to be opened before the master control skin is unlocked. I know that is totally vague because i know it is totally random. I just want to get an idea of how long it will take to obtain.

It’s totally random. It could be at level 100 or it could be tomorrow. It’s a rare item though so the former is more likely.
Get it via packs and go silver all the way first and then gold after you get all things rare and below
