So, propably all of you know how the ranking system works in HMCC. By winning you gain exp and by losing or quitting you lose exp depending on the opposing teams average skill rank.
This system is quite good and encourages team work and staying in matches until the end. But in HMCC I constantly end up in uneven games when someone on either team quits or lags out. In ranked playlists this is a problem because you lose a game very easily when you play even skilled players and end up one team mate short. So basically you lose a game due to a non skill related reason.
What I’d like to see is a DOTA 2 like system on quits. If one player on a team quits he receives a exp loss penalty and the others on that team could quit without a penalty. Another addition or an alternative to this is that rest of the players on that team could finish the game without losing exp on defeat. Personally though I would prefer the no-penalty-quitting method.
