When you start up a match in matchmaking you can experience a cut scene right before the start of the match. For example a spartan team is sent in to blow up a covenant cruiser and your pelican gets shot down and crashes into the cruiser and the “real” players survive while the “empty slots” are controlled by AI but die in the crash thus leaving only the real players in the game. Then the game starts. You will be able to pick up weapons from the crash such as power weapons and such. The elites also get a cut scene. They spot the pelican and shoot it down and the squad of elites are sent to kill any remaining personal in the pelican. The “real players” and the “A.I players” engage in a firefight with the spartans. The A.I controlled elites get killed during the cut scene. If possible when an objective is complete from either side it could have a cut scene showing a failure cut scene to one team and a victory cut scene to the other team. And for customs made invasion maps, you could make a map and have the real players and the A.Is (if they are included in forge) do what you want them to do (like a movie) then go into theater and save the clip and insert it to your map. If they add this to invasion it could add a totally new experience to the gametype and make customs a lot better.
That’s a cool idea. It would give some story, roles, and epic-ness to PvP multiplayer.
Much better than War Games simulations.
