Halo 5 should have Flood Fire Fight instead.

Rather than having Fire Fight or Spartan Ops, Halo 5 should have Flood Fire Fight instead for 4 reasons.

1. Everyone can agree that this is fun, plus surviving against the flood is far more scary and intense than surviving against the covenant.

2. Covenant are getting boring. And Spartan Op’s character and story were weak thanks to a bad writer at 343i (who I cannot name as calling out staff is against the waypoint forum’s silly rules)

3. The Co op experience of surviving with a friend against hordes of flood on horror themed maps will be addicting and fun.

4. This mode will allow Halo to compete better with CoD. Halo’s Flood Fire Fight is a perfect competitor against CoD’s -Yoink!- Zombie mode.

I think instead it should be Spartan Ops where there is a story with cutscenes and such, but have missions like retrieving something in a flood infested world and having to survive a number of rounds, other missions might be completely different though so there is no repetititiveness, but i imagine a firefight like mission in the end of each chapter is actually a great idea

In conclussion I think Halo 5 should include Spartan Ops Season 2 where:

  • Mission structure combines Spartan Ops season 1 and Firefight mode- Flood should be included in most maps

I always liked this idea. If this came about it should include a section or sections where all lights goes out and you only have your flashlight with a narrow illuminated beam. No VISR. Just to add to the intensity of the fight especially in a close quarters encounter.

It was mostly because of the script that the characters were bad. If they can get a better writer, they wouldn’t have Palmer using “egghead lol” so many times.

I love the idea and maybe as an option but not the only fire fight mode. We don’t want more reason to have ppl making threads like " this is not COD" “omg copying COD again” even tho the flood has been in halo since the Begining ppl would still find a way to bash it

Prometheans were made specifically to kill flood, it would be cool to seem them fight each other.
