Halo 5 Should Have a More Complete Soundtrack

I know this is a bit random, but as a fan of music, I think Halo 5: Guardians should have a more complete soundtrack this time around. Halo 4’s music was great, but between both volumes, we only got about 3/5 of the music (around 340 minutes, or 5.6 hours, of music was recorded. We only got about 3.1 hours worth of music total). Most of the previous scores had ALMOST all the music, however there is still a lot of great music from Halo 4 that I think should have been on the soundtracks, especially cutscene music that had some references to the previous Halo score. I’m hoping we get a lot more than that with Halo 5, as most of the music we’ve heard so far was, in my opinion, top-notch. The perfect blend of old and new music. My only complaint about Halo 4’s first soundtrack was that it was mainly music that was never heard in the game. What’s the point of recording that music if half of it doesn’t appear in the game? Awakening never appears, except a tiny snippet of it in last cutscene of the mission “Shutdown”. To Galaxy only has a small section that appears in the menu. I don’t think the album version of Haven appears at all. Heck, Kazuma Jinnouchi composed about half the game’s music, and he wasn’t even credited until the second OST came out! I know this probably will never happen, but I’m still waiting for a volume 3 soundtrack. The main reason I am writing this is because some of my favorite tracks weren’t featured on the OSTs. :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed.

Like Sotaro Tojima and Neil Davidge said in the Halo 4 OST LE book, they coud have filled 4 discs.

Let get the traddition of the double CD back!

There’s enough material to almost fill a disc just from the promotional trailers and the multiplayer beta alone. I really hope we get a massive soundtrack for Halo 5.
