I have noticed recently that the game has lagged or have a delay in registration of a shot fired or not registering at all, when it is clearly a headshot. Do you guys have this problem, because if so then 343 better fix it. This is completely a catastrophe, when its been 2 years since the game has been released and these issues have become more prevalent and concerning for the community. 343 you NEED to FIX this, otherwise halo 6 will again be a titanic.
On my end i havnt noticed anything like what you are explaining. I do have very fast internet though, and unsure if that effects it. All my shots seems to work just fine

IM from Australia this has always been a problem since day one and if anything has gotten worse lately I think it’s server related cause other Aussies I play with always complain about it

I get tons of blank shots. There’s matches where I’m yelling into the mic "wth!? Dude he should be dead! He won’t die!) Then I lose the 1v1. My buddies hearing me like… whatever dude. Lol he probably just outgunned you. Then the stats come up.
Bam. I’ve had a 63%accuracy rating in the match with the magnum nonetheless. I know I hit the target. I live close to Mexico though, and sometimes I can’t help but think maybe their connection has something to do with it. Plus my friends are way over in another state so idk how much of all that plays a role in connnection stability. My nets really fast, no packet loss, all that great stuff. It’s happened more often since this last update though.
Or… I’m just crazy. Which would mean we’re all crazy.
It happens more often than i would like depending on what server the game connects you to. I wish there was a connection bar in the scoreboard like older halos. BF1 shows you your exact ping to whatever server you are connected to.
Also idk if its a placebo but when i play halo 5 on my PC even if the game is lagging my actual aiming mechanics feels smoother and more responsive.
There is some inconsistencies, I’ve could have sworn that I pegged them, but nothing registers. There have also been times where I know I should have missed, but it registers as a head shot. This does not happen all the time, sometimes it’s spot on. Again it depends on the connection to the server.

Your not crazy I’ve played halo enough and halo 5 enough to know what’s what. It feels like the mcc hit detection at times . So anyone questioning the " he’s probably outgunned you " theory can go suck a big fat yoink. Hit detection was screwy there and those traits are in halo 5 . Watch pros watch twitch players they’ve all commented on this and noticed it themselves. I’m not a hater I love halo 5 I think it’s a really fun game nor do I come on here to moan or talk about how bungee were better or anything like that . It’s a genuine fault with the game and to raise the issue is to hope that 343 address it. This game is great fun when it plays well and if they want to expand the player base or player retention then it’s things like this that should get an update not the sandbox. To be candid two years of this is unacceptable and a shambles , the love the craftsmanship the polished end product has never been there , yet people ask why all the hate for 343 ? This is one of the many reasons !!!

I agree dude. I’ve not watched streams, but have seen youtube vids of what was streamed, so its live com just put into a youtube vid. I have seem people with incredible shots say “wth he didn’t die!?” ESPECIALLY when you begin to reload once you 5 shot someone amd know you hit your mark. I’ve seen edited vids to that zoom in on the actual reticle and yea. Blank shots. They don’t happen every single match, but they do happen, and are happening more frequent these days.
2 years out, yes. This is really bad if it’s indeed plaguing a majority of players. I’d assume we’re def not alone, and that ordeal causes not only a rage quit, but a full xbox shutdown. Either that, or hopping onto another game, leaving us another dropped player in the populous if it’s happened 1 to many times to that player.

When using the guns that were not affected by the balance they worked normally and just find.
When using certain updated guns such as the be I felt as if my shots weren’t being registered but that wasn’t the case. I was using the gun like I use to which isn’t how it’s meant to be used against so some of the shots missed due to that ex br has a tighter spread and lower rate of fire so you have to be closer/farther (mid) which most people don’t that much.
When I would be a good position with the be as In “mid” I landed all my shots perfectly no problem what so ever

Well in the magnums case I never had a problem from anywhere I shot so idk about that one mate.
