Halo 5 Shop

Something that I’d really like to see from halo 5, and I mean this based off the gameplay outside of competitive, aka Firefight.

I kind of wish req points had more use, besides having them to buy random packs- I am left wondering why there isn’t a shop. Somewhere that we could buy weapons and vehicles that we have already unlocked.
And I mean this in the sense of buying them with alot of AND only req points, NOT ACTUAL MONEY.

One of my favorite weapons is the Blood Of Suban, but collecting them is damn near impossible, just randomly getting them from a req pack isn’t exactly a great way of growing your collection. And not using your favorites is not fun.

So for what it’s worth, maybe they can consider it for Halo 6 or so on.

What do you think?

Oh god man why is every letter in your comment in bold?!

Back on topic:
I agree with you. It’s probably trying to put us in a state where we keep playing and later if someone lost it spend real money thanks to the RNG that acts similar to those slot machines in casinos.

Actually not being able to use your favorite weapons and being forced to expand your arsenal is a really good thing. I really love the Blood of Suban too, and I love the Grenade Launcher, but when I run out of them, I just use different weapons. I recently found out the High Five absolutely decimates enemies at long range, especially when the High Five is known for not being called in at all. And a bunch more weapons I used to never call in I call in way more often.

good point, of course I’d really like to see at least the option, of let’s say buying (1) High Five for 5000 reqs, just a crazy number I know! But being able to buy stuff I think adds to the game just a bit and also separates Halo from games that already only use the lootcrates system for random unlocks. I love the packs in Halo 5, honestly makes me play more and more, but I want more Subans! hah
Thanks for the input, indeed.

Sorry about the bold! I only meant to make the first part bold… weird!

I think then it would turn into pay to win.

I don’t think you understand, although I did say, use req points, NOT MONEY!
Plus it already is pay to win in a way! You can buy req packs… Just saying

Even with using REQ points to buy it would ruin the balance of the game.

Takes away from the RNG way if the system and means people would spend less real money and actually use their RP in game. In short: less money will be made so 343 says he’ll no.

Maybe if you used REQ points to buy REQ energy, but once you get your face slapped with that SPNKR Prime you just spawned, it’s sol for you. You’re going to have to wait about 5 minutes to get your REQ energy back.

In no way is it Pay-to-Win, all everyone does is whine about stuff in Halo 5 being Pay-To-Win.
The only thing Pay-To-Win is “Hey, let’s see who can finish their REQ collection first.” And that’s pretty much the only thing pay to win.

Weapons are pretty balanced, vehicles are pretty balanced with their always being a way to counter.
So, I’m not sure you understand concept or anything you just said, so you might wanna think before you act next time.

When you turn Bold “on” it stays on till you click on it again.

If that makes sense.

I do it quite often.

My problem is that to balance it, they would have to make those weapons REALLY REQ expensive.

What turned me off from Reach’s armory was how every single armor piece was SUPER expensive. And if REQ packs were say, 30,000RP, I would have given up on those too.

Honesrly they should just take out req points and this dumb rng for halo. I’m a fan of RNG but not in this game. They should go back to how it was on reach maybe even 4.

Umm did you read what i wrote? I know right now its not pay to win, but if you were able to buy what ever REQ card you wanted it would mess with how balanced it is.

A little too pay to win, and I get it it’s only req points but some people have amassed millions of points.

They make money off of it, I doubt we’ll see this trend go away in video games in general.

I am one of those ppl who has not, although I do play regularly! even bought a second xbox to play with family. but still can’t seem to collect them fast enough. there was a point where I had 110k but then a limited time req was out that cost 80k came out so I wasted it. But I truly didn’t know anybody had collected that many!
