From the beta to now everything looks amazing the campaign, multiplayer and everything else looks awesome from all the interviews I’ve seen look awesome the forge maps from the beta look awesome and the new forge world they were on everything I’ve heard and seen looks amazing I’m super hyped what about you guys
I honestly am extremely excited for halo 5, and I plan to go to a midnight release if my local store has it. Once I get home I am popping it into the Xbox One and playing campaign immediately. I am happy some positives are being shown on this forum, but most posts are mostly negative and it is becoming a pool filled with hydrofluoric acid.
Overall, I am very happy with halo 5 so far.
I used to think that, but now, halo 5 seems to be jam packed with fail
Many do seem to be angry at a lot of stuff and some of it is very valid (like splitscreen), but I still feel like what we’re getting is still a very big and complete game.
Campaign
-Blue Team.
-Buck.
-A team of interesting characters.
-Arbiter is back even if not playable.
-Get to see the elite homeworld finally!
-New and seemingly more interesting Promethean enemies.
-New vehicles and all that jazz.
Multiplayer
-Arena experience is back babay!
-Fully supported ranking system from the beginning of the game.
-SR ranking system to unlock armor.
-A set of core gametypes that they want to include with Slayer, CTF and Strongholds already being confirmed with Oddball and KoTH very likely as well.
-A whole new mode in Breakout which makes shorter kill times very competitive and was very well received.
-Balanced abilities that were fairly well received and that also have the ability to be turned off.
-Possibilities for both no sprint playlists and PVE only Warzone which also brings me to…
-Warzone!
-Warzone has microtransactions that allow us to have free map packs and also support Halo e-sports.
-Warzone’s second game mode is very similar to Invasion so we got a gametype like that back!
-24 players at least in Warzone and possibly in Arena as well.
-Lots of customization in the form of weapons skins, vehicle skins, assassination animations, vehicle variants, stances, and armor skins alongside the stuff we saw in the beta.
We still got custom game, Forge and Theater mode which hasn’t been talked about yet, but is being fully supported and we’ve already seen a Forge canvas in the Beta.
What we’ve lost is some bigger things, but not enough IMO to ruin the game.

Modular armor customization
Big stuff, but even without them I think Halo 5 Guardians will be an awesome game despite it all.

Campaign seems to still be linear. Warzone looks absolutely terrible. No BTB at launch. “Arena MP” isn’t that fun to me. This is the lowest my hype has ever been for a Halo game. I didn’t like Halo 4 all that much and 343 really botched the MCC. I will buy Halo 5, but if it doesn’t beat my expectations(which shouldn’t be hard to do as they are extremely low), I’ll be done with Halo. The campaign while still linear looking, may just be the only part of the game I’m looking forward to.

Then you have no credibility in determining others opinions, you don’t balance positives and negatives, and you think critique is paramount to personal insults. Going as far to get upset when someone doesn’t like the look of something or information surrounding it, you know, evaluation and not blind fandom? How does the campaign seem very linear? Based off a very scripted E3 demo that doesn’t reflect what the actual mission and overall campaign is supposed to play out like?
We already have 343i emphasizing a generally larger campaign with multiple paths and large battles, as well as Ready Up Live (and other channels) playing the level Blue Team and describing how there are many choices and paths for approaching combat, even on a level that takes place on a ship, which doesn’t offer much room for openness.
BTB will be there in a couple weeks after launch. It lets them allow people to experience things like Warzone before splitting the community up, and ensures that all the bugs and network issues are worked out before deploying more content. Why is that such a bad thing?

What have we seen? No representative campaign missions, and both parts presented have been linear. We have played a version of the Arena style competitive combat, which is promising. We’ve seen warzone which has caused many people to worry but the overall consensus seems positive. Various confirmations and vague promises like theater and forge supposedly being good, and spectator mode. Many deconfirmations like splitscreen, elites, armor customization, invasion(though there’s warzone), no warzone outside of matchmaking, no human air vehicle in warzone on launch which has negative implications. That’s pretty much it. You are saying Halo 5 is amazing based on this alone? Does watching just a trailer determine your opinion of a complete movie?

I’m not saying you’re 10 because you’re excited for halo 5, it’s because you have this idea that everything you think is true is definite, and that no one can disagree. You haven’t learned the amount of lies and manipulation that goes on in advertising, hell, even 343 said the e3 demonstration wasn’t representative. Your lying to yourself by just ignoring facts and using your uncertain hopes as a reality. This is what the education system is supposed to teach, skepticism and perception of reality, and to say that something is always good without actually having evidence is not something a 16 year old should do. You need to understand that there’s money involved, and you can’t just take this info as definite fact, it could change at any moment. Others realize this and keep a distance away, whereas you go “omg I’m so hyped no haters here pls”. No, hype is bad, you don’t want to be hyped, uou can hope but you don’t have sny idea if halo 5 is any good or not yet. This is reasoning you should have aquired by now. Also, me trying to teach you about the reality of the consumer producer world and an error in your line of thinking isn’t bullying, and having friends who have actually been bullied, you know, touched inappropriately, humiliated, physically injured, threatened; to you call this bullying is actually quite offensive to me, but whatever, live in your bubble, if I’m hurting your feelings than I obviously haven’t approached your way of thought appropriately, and you are still to ignorant to see the differing views of others without getting offended.
I’m just happy we get to see blue team in action, I’ve wanted to see Kelly, Fred and Linda in action ever since I first heard about them in Fall of Reach.
