When I start halo 5 it says I’m offline but I’m actually connected to xbox live. I’ll go the dashboard and it shows I’m online. Anyone have this issue?

try paying your isp.
This worked for me:
Power cycle your Xbox One
- Turn off and disconnect all cables for one minute, reconnect and power onClear the persistent storage and alternate MAC just to delete all the corrupted files that are blocking your console system.
To clear the cache
-
go to Settings >> Disc and Blu Ray >> Persistent Storage >> Clear Persistent Storage. (Just do this once). To clear alternate MAC
-
go to Settings >> Network >> Advanced Settings >> Alternate MAC >> Clear Alternate MAC >> - Then restart the console.
having this same problem, what a joke
