Halo 5 Rewarding System

When the time comes and you nearly got every commendation…there won’t be much more to achieve except those boring daily wins for warzone and arena. Am I the only one who misses a rewarding system, like it was in halo reach or so… There had been daily and weekly challenges (for example, eliminate 100 enemies or make 2 double kills in one game…) It would be worth a thought to bring back a little incentive and motivation.

Even Spartan Assault/Strike both have daily and weekly challenges. Besides, it’s not like they are incapable of making a similar feature, they’ve already added company rewards and commendations, ad the daily wins, not like it’s impossible to have the kind of things you mentioned.

Am I the only one who thinks these reward systems are idiotic for replacing what makes video games fun in the first place? The game used to be the reward. Now the game is the chore we do in order to achieve the reward. The reward is there like a carrot on a stick for us to grind or throw cash at, and when it’s gone, the game is worthless.

Remember when we used to play CE or Halo 2 for hours and days and weeks on end with our friends? For what? For fun. Now these developers have ruined all that with these systems designed to trigger our brain’s gambling instincts to get us hooked for all the wrong reasons. How else could a bland, monotonous shooter like Destiny be so popular?

But anyway, OP, daily and weekly challenges like Reach had were perfectly fine. Those were fun and completely different than the kind of systems I’m talking about. I hope they bring those back. I enjoyed hunting down Bob Elites.

Well, the Game is still a fun reward within itself, but when the acquisition of items that make the game more fun and competitive starts become less frequent as time played continues, it becomes more difficult to have a good time when you’re not doing well or getting fun and interesting items anymore.

Well, I barely play Warzone, but I get what you’re saying. And when I was (for the purpose of REQ points to unlock armors), I was selling EVERYTHING, so I was only using my BR and SMG, so you can imagine how much fun I was having. lol. So I certainly fell victim to it as well, but I needed those armors for screenshots :frowning:

And I do love the game, it’s definitely the best since Halo 3.

Daily, weekly, monthly challenges are needed. The gambit cards, aren’t doing it for me and are no where near a suitable replacement to the challenges.

I want challenges back too. I wanted to achieve something while I am playing

That’s a good point. All those money greedy companies…That sucks. But nowadays you wont find any ego shooter without a rewarding system. And the most hilarious aspect is,that they always add new useless -Yoink- to collect for the players. 214 helmets o.O WTF…I try to think, who is going to be so stupid and buys 50 Gold Reqs for $100…

Yeah I’ve been calling for challenges to make a return for a LONG time! I really want to see them in this game.

Daily/Weekly Challenges would be a VERY welcome addition to Halo 5 IMO!

It would be great if monthly, daily and weekly rewards will be added

We all want this!!

That is why you have Spartan Company challenges, thou they are not that as rewarding as personal challenges.

Couldnt agree more there. I pretty much stopped playing Destiny cos it became so much about the grind rather than just fun.

monthly sounds really interesting :D.And I can’t remember that I’ve ever seen monthly challenges in any Halo.
