Halo 5:return of invasion and playable elites

Invasion: I suggest new and improved invasion, with drivable pelicans and phantoms. But for this to happened it will need a big map, I was thinking a remake of the halo 3 campaign map covenant, on the bravo checkpoint. Here’s the idea, covenant get banshees and phantoms for air units and the UNSC get falcons and pelicans. The map should have 2 outer designs for example, the air units fly over the big ocean half of the island and fight the covenant banshees and phantoms. While the ground units go on foot fighting the elites trying to get into there base and capture the core. The core carrier should be able to ride in the pelican and report back to the objective while other pelicans and falcons defend the core carrier from the covenant.

Playable elites: First, it gets old playing as Spartans all the time and flood, there cool and all but I prefer elites they are like an old friend, they can also be useful for machinima’s and invasion game types.
Second, dual wield swords for a load out when your an elite that should be able to block incoming bullets, sense there’s 2 of them its more defense but that load out should be for a new elite for example, the MASTER ELITE a powerful close combat elite that should be vicious and brutal.

i like the idea to bring back invasion and elites. but i dont like the seperation of the vehicles and ground troops they should all play in the same area but be balanced so the vehicles dont completely dominate. im also not feeling the dual swords idea.

Sorry, but MP is canon now buddy, as in, 343 can remove things and say its not canon

> Sorry, but MP is canon now buddy, as in, 343 can remove things and say its not canon

the multiplayer is not a secondary campaign and has nothing to do with the story. so 343 will bring Elites back in the multiplayer and campaign just like in halo 3.

Nobody said it was going to be called Halo 5, at least no one that knows it’s really called “Halo Xbox One” right now.

> Sorry, but MP is canon now buddy, as in, 343 can remove things and say its not canon

That’s such a sad excuse. 343i even admits that there are Elites that are still aligned with Humanity. There is no reason they can’t train alongside Spartans.

And in terms of Invasion, there is no reason Spartans can’t take on an Elite as their avatar, considering they can apparently take on Flood avatars.

> Sorry, but MP is canon now buddy, as in, 343 can remove things and say its not canon

Well, technically, the MP was canon in just Halo 4 for now. If 343 wanted (And I really hope they do this. Multiplayer and story were separated for all 5 Bungie-developed Halo games for a reason.) they could say that MP isn’t canon in Halo 5. I don’t think they’re going to do it, but they should.

Don Mattrick called it Halo 5, and so did a 343 employee. It’s a direct sequel to Halo 4, and also a legitimate Halo game (as in not a side game- Multiplayer and all). You can’t really think it’s not Halo 5 and, let’s be honest, writing “Xbox One” is tedious as opposed to one number.

Since they officially axed Spartan Ops, I see no reason to keep the multiplayer canon. The whole point was that your character was training for SpOps missions in Multiplayer, now he’d be training for nothing and making it canon will do no good.

Spartan Ops isn’t over with. Provide a link of proof if so, but season 2 more than likely will be post Halo 5.

I think Elites are not playable now as that would make the Prometheans “shadowed” out, IMO.

Did you watch the RTX panel? Franky said there will not be a season 2 and that SpOps was always meant to be an experiment (implying the experiment wasn’t a success). Also, David Ellis changed his twitter description from “designer of Soartan Ops at 343i” to “designer at 343i”. Take the hint.

“Halo Xbox One confirmed as the official title by bs Angel. The Corrine Yu Tweet and any other media such as official Xbox Facebook page or Forbes website as inaccurate with the title of Halo 5. We await the official title release still.”
Don Mattrick don’t know -blam!- and I know it won’t be Halo 5 because if it was going to be Halo 5 they would just say it instead of just “Halo” being on the screen.

^this is stupid^ why the heck don’t they know the Name of a Game they have probably already been working on for so long…

just seems bizarre.

I hope they just go with Halo5 but im sure they wont
