Halo 5 Req System

I believe that Halo 5 would have been a much better experience if only the game wasn’t built around the Req System rather the Req system was incorporated into the game as a much smaller thing.

Warzone and armor customization are really all that it effects. Doesn’t touch the story, arena, forge, customs which I consider more than half the game. So I guess if you’re a big warzone guy and care about armor then sure, but I haven’t been to bothered since I dislike warzone and have never cared about armor customization.

theres much I’d change about the req system, I’d make it exclusive to the weapons and vehicles only for warzone play and the armor would go halo 3 style where you did certain achievements to unlock them, even then tho I still wouldn’t care(besides the fact I still don’t care for playing dress up) cuz 343s version of Spartan armors look fugly as it can get. I’d even then have it where you’re generated a select group of reqs to use each game and it’s up to you if you use them. There really is no way to have it player friendly while also giving 343 money from it, one or the other will lose out depending on how they have the system, I prefer to not have RNG decide what you get when you pay in game currency or real world currency.

Actually to me only warzone is built around the req system. The only way the req system effects other modes is because sadly 343 decided to put virtually all cosmetics in it instead of leaving some cosmetics unlockable through gameplay and achievements.

The only games based around the REQ system is Warzone and Warzone Firefight. So…saying that the game (assuming you mean the entire game) is built around the REQ System is completely pointless.

That’s your opinion. Arena is built around it, Warzone is built around it. That’s half the game. That’s Multiplayer.
You want armor than you either have to grind or hand over your wallet. I like Halo Wars 2 set up where Blitz and the Req System is a much smaller aspect. The Req system should be restricted to Weapons.
Maps I’d personally rather they be default vehicles. And armor based upon leveling/ranking up. As for weapons… that is something I’d love to see as more Req oriented. This adds more thinking and strategy to a FPS game like this.

But armor doesn’t have any aspect on how you play it’s just looks. So…again…the REQ system is only really based around the Warzone gametypes where actual weapons/vehicles come into play…and even then…they don’t mean you will play well or not. If you think it ruins the game, don’t play…play something else then and quit complaining.

Also…nothing in the REQs affect the Arena modes. The only thing that would change is your armor…which armor doesn’t correlate into actual gameplay/skill.

See now you are trolling me.

It’s exactly this kinda attitude that cause people to flip their lids and want to rip apart kids like you that say this. Because of your attitude I’m no longer going to respond or read anything more you have to say.

Tbh i think the req system is fine.

All these flavors and you choose to be salty…it’s soo sad. Though in all honesty, I am not trolling you. The way you are acting seems like you think the REQ system ruins the game…a game in which you seem to think was build completely around said REQ system. I am simply saying that 1.) The REQ system only effects a small portion of the game, not a massive amount like you want to say/believe. 2.) While I may have gone a bit over by saying “quit playing” my fact still remains about the “quit complaining” bit. The REQ system is something that is not entirely needed to play/progress in the game. It only effects a small portion and it doesn’t even make that big of an effect…which ultimately is the point I am trying to drive across.

On a side note, I am not a kid and haven’t been for several years, easy…so don’t start assuming I am one and label me as such when you don’t even know a single thing about me. In all honesty, the only one with a childish behavior here is you. Pretty much everyone else here is in agreement with me that your point of claiming the game…or such a large portion of it…if built solely around something as small as the REQ System is a pretty poor point. And my “attitude” has been nothing but be along the lines of trying to point that fact out to you. You are the one being the kid here. “Oh, you are trying to say something that goes against what I think/believe is correct and I don’t like that so you must obviously be a child and I am no longer going to acknowledge you.” Seriously…what is this, friggin’ 3rd grade elementary school B.S…? Like for real…grow the hell up. You started this thread and should have known or at least assumed there was going to be someone who didn’t agree with what your OP was about and would try to prove their point. If you can’t handle that small little fact then you should have this thread locked if you can’t handle someone not agreeing with you.

As do I, I feel it can bring a lot to a match and make it more challenging and therefore more fun. I mean, yea, it’s not going to be super fun in a Warzone match when the entire enemy team has tanks but that is what is fun about a challenge…trying to overcome that seemingly unstoppable force. And when you do, it makes victory taste all the more sweet and makes you feel that much more accomplished.

So true.
