Halo 5 req system problem.

The req system in Halo five is a great tool used to win battles on Warzone, however without any weapons can cause a match to be more one sided. When the req system is not working. Should the player survive on weapons that is left around the map from other players with dificult odds.

Xbox live support stated “Halo waypoint could help in restoring the problem by ensuring that the profiles link to halo accounts aren’t currupted ensuring better gameplay”. To my understanding what Xboxlive support means that Halowaypoint has the jurisdiction ensuring that Halo servers are connected by a means of created accounts through Halo waypoint connecting to profiles on the Xbox live servers. This means that if there is a profile that’s currupted the player on any particular account would also be affected.

Means bad news for people who has purchased or earned gold and silver packs that do not register by the internal connection via retrieving data limiting the ability to equip weapons and loadout to achieve victory as a team.

I would like to ask Halo Waypoint to investigate the problem on why the req weapons cannot be accessed by having a message as retrieving data through out multiple matches. As a result this problem decreases the likelihood of enjoying matches making them more vulnerable using basic weapons with extremely difficult chances of survival. This throws out the the ability to make a balanced game.
If there are other players who do have the same problems with the req system on Halo five.

I’m having the same set of problems with the same error messages. I agree with everything you said, games are one-sided and not nearly as fun. I just bought the game a week ago, I play every day, hard re-set the xbox every day, and it’s only registered about 5 games that I’ve played. The REQ system has not worked in matchmaking for days and I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed. I can’t rank up if the game does not register my stats. For me, this is eliminating the desire to play… I mean, why play Warzone when I know every time I go in I’m stuck using a pistol and will certainly be outgunned?

Note:
1) The error message specifically says, "We encountered a problem and couldn’t retrieve your data"
2) This has been a constant problem for 4 or 5 days, not a off/on again thing like some people are suggesting.

Addendum:
I believe I found my solution. After reading forums I found a 2 step solution that works for me and has NOT reverted back.
First, I deleted the Halo Channel app.
Second, I did a HARD reset of my xbox. (Note> this is different than just turning your xbox off)

This issue is impacting many of us. What I do is load the game and literally wait a couple of minutes before going into the menus. If I don’t get any sync errors, I wait a couple of more minutes then go into the req store or my reqs, if they are there you can go into WZ and your reqs will work. It they are not there, wait a few another minute and keep checking your reqs until they load. Then play the game. Annoying, but that is the workaround that works for me. 343/ms need to fix this.

Sometimes I purchase gold packs with my saved up REQ points and then I get the same problem happen to me. I can spawn in loadouts and armor mods, but not boosts or power weapons/vehicles.

When that happens the system thinks you are the weak link and power weapons or boosts won’t help you anyways. Basically telling you to save REQs for later bruh.

I hear ya, but I think my problem was different. Specifically, there was at no time a return of function. I mean, it just stopped working and never regained connection until I one, deleted the Halo Channel app, than 2) hard reset the Xbone.
