Halo 5: REQ Purchased Marines.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could spawn a marine in Warzone. If you didn’t know, marines are spawned in a base in the game-mode, Warzone if you or the opposing team captures a base. What would be really cool in Warzone would be if you could spawn in a marine with REQ points. The marine spawned can either go on the defense or offense. If defense was selected, the A.I. would spawn at the base you are in and it would defend it like a regular marine. If offense was selected the marine would attack the closest base near it and it would keep attacking bases until it died. Also different types of marines could be spawned such as a sniper marine or a heavy armor marine. Plus depending on how powerful the marine is, it would cost more REQ points in the match.

Not a bad idea, but only 1 marine is pretty useless. That 1 would have to be stronger cause I’d hate to waste a req point just for him to get his head shot off.

Unless he follows you around for like 4 REQ. That may be cool.

They’d have to be like a squad of ODST or maybe like Spartan Trainees. So they could have like some type of armor to explain how they could keep up, they’d have jumps but no shields. It would be pretty tough otherwise considering the lack of movement ability, they’d have to be programmed just to try to follow and maybe have the squad controls from the campaign. It could be pretty useful for taking an enemy base or dealing with a boss as they will agro the bosses.

It would also be cool to see like enemy marines as a boss or something. Like “separatists have entered the battlefield” and its a bunch of upgraded marines with better weapons.

Not sure id like this idea. But it is a unique one.

It would really help in Warzone Assault to be honest. I like the idea though.

I’d love to see ODSTs. Seriously, they’ve been absent and without mention since Halo 4. Wtf. Where’d they all go?!

Marines are pretty useless.

One of my favorite things to do in Warzone, and one of the few redeeming qualities of Halo 5’s spartan abilities, is to just full on spartan charge them and watch their ragdoll fly.

If you could spawn a couple of them, and you had a coordinated team, you could fill an armory with 24 marines. That’s gonna take a minute to clear out.

Hmm, what about switching weapons with marines also, maybe give them a needler/rocket to defend to base?

Marines with rockets might be OP, but they stay in base? Idk…

Marine! I choose you!
