I overall really do enjoy Halo 5. However, this req system is going a little overboard. I have been getting too many DMR weapons, magnum pistols, wraiths, tanks and Damage level 3.
I feel like 343i should take note of this issue and reduce the possibilty of getting these repetitive reqs for other players as well. We need more BR and AR variants, more needlers, more plasma pistols, more armor designs and most importantly; more emblem and Speed abilities. These are the reqs that most of us care about.
Im sure many of you can agree with me about these game breaking issues… im so sick and tired of getting all these DMRs. Who else is having this problem?
The loadout variants are just a one time REQ so once you acquire them all you won’t get them anymore and it’s the same with armor and emblems as well. “We want more needlers and plasma pistols.” I’m not saying that, but you can get the base versions in a bronze pack.
If you want new things added, unfortunately they’re done adding stuff to the game.

This is not a game breaking issue, freezing, lag, sweaty types, farming these are all greater issues (imo).
Yeah i know. Its just frustrating that the guns i keep getting are not powerful or fun to use in battle… why use a mech or rocket launcher to defeat The Warden when there are plasma pistols and storm rifles that can be available but do not show up often. Gets me really upset that powerful weapons such as plasma pistols are not often available.

Why are you trying to kill the Warden with a plasma pistol or storm rifle? You might as well be throwing marshmallows at him instead.
it’s just part of the REQ pool. As far as the loadouts, each weapon has those number of variants. You just do not realize earlier on because you are just happy to be unlocking items. I know i was waiting for a while for my first DMR

Yeah i dont use the DMR, BRs are better… i do wish i can get more power weapons like the needler, they work great against stronger prometheans and promethean bosses
This player has be scratching my head… Complaining about getting one time unlocks, certifications, vs the one time use reqs like needlers and plasma pistols(req cards you don’t really need as you can pick them up quite regularly from dead covies.) OP you may want to read up on the req system and how it works and best way to open packs. You can’t really complain about the one time certification unlocks vs the one time use cards. If you are looking for those lower level unlocks like needlers, Strom rifles, speed boost, plasma pistols, you are best to open bronze and silver packs only. Also since it sounds like you are new I will say keep opening bronze and silver packs untill the silvers refund two 1500 point req cards instead of unlocks then start opening golds. You will have better luck with packs that way.

It depends on the game mode. The DMR has it’s uses just as the BR does. Using any non vehicle weapon against bosses is a bad idea. You burn through ammo so fast. You will definitely get the power weapons though. Are you opening Gold packs? Getting multiple DMRs at level 36 is pretty awesome TBH. I was level 60 when i got my first one
I wish I was getting the dmrs the past ten platinum/gold req packs I’ve been opening has been certifications for chaingun warthogs, turrents, some variation of the hydra, etc…
I feel like the way you select loadout weapons is really archaic. Scroll through a huge list to get to the end? If you accidentally hit the wrong one, you have to scroll from the beginning again? No thanks.
Here’s my suggestion: we unlock the initial weapon, each scope, and each attachment. We shouldn’t have to unlock each and every scope/attachment combo. Once you start getting them, there should be a table for weapon selection, where you scroll right to select your scope, and down to select your attachment. Top left is base.
Tbh, though, there is a reason they make you unlock each individual scope/attachment combo. It’s to bloat the REQ pool so that it takes longer for you to get what you want, incentivizing you to pay real money for more REQs.
