So I was reading my gameinformer magazine the other day and the article about halo 5 guardians was phenomenal, until I came across the part that explains that halo 5 will not support split screen co-op.
Hold up.
You mean to tell me, that you put out six games, all with split screen co-op, and now you change your mind? I’m sorry but that’s unacceptable. My wife and I love playing halo co-op together, my brothers love coming over and playing co-op/pass the controller when you die. It’s become something of a tradition in my house to beat the game in split screen co-op (Not that I haven’t beaten them on my own).
My wife and I have looked forward to the release of this game for years now, only to have our spirits crushed by the fact that we can’t play it together. As soon as I read this, I put the magazine down and faut with myself about weather or not I should cancel my pre order. I don’t think I could bring myself to buy this game if it means buying another x box, another TV, and another game just to play with my wife or brothers.
Oh, but wait, to make up for this, you can now play online co-op without a gold membership. Woop-dee-frickin-doo, most halo fans have gold. So this isn’t much of a plus. What about all the families with multiple kids, or people with room mates, I mean, this does nothing for us.
Bring split screen co-op back or I can think of at least, AT LEAST, 20 fans personally (myself included) that halo will lose because of this lacking feature. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK.
There is already a thread dedicated to discussing this. I suggest posting this there as this will be locked by the mods
