Well folks, it’s official. Not that it wasn’t obvious. The release date for Halo 5/Xbox One, or whatever you wanna call it, will be revealed at E3. Also, Sunset Overdrive’s release date, along with Quantum Break. Also, loads of new exclusives. Man, I just want to see some gameplay before anyone talks about the release date lol.
It’s possible that it’ll be announced beforehand. He said that most of them will be clear before the end of E3. That means that one of them may be announced before, or after.
Still, I care more about seeing the game than the release date at the moment.
My guess is early November. I’ll go with November 10. Over/under?
I wouldn’t call it official. As I have already seen this string of tweets, he only says that “most of those will be clear to fans by the end of our E3 briefing.” It’s not very definitive, much less “official.”
I’m honestly more concerned about the game itself than the release date. The moment I read that Gameinformer article will be when I make the ultimate decision of whether or not I should go about purchasing Halo on Xbox One.

Probably november, maybe december. I don’t want the release date, I want to see multiplayer gameplay before I can even care about the release date.
One thing i didnt like about the news was the fact that perks would once again reveal themselves in a game that had no startup perks. Halo (imho) was always about fighting for the power weapon and a few other things. They really need to take the perks off this isnt CoD, but i look forward to halo 5! Super exciting!
Well, Halo games usually come out in September or November so we just have to guess what date it will come out.
I just found out something, I think Halo 5 should be released on Tuesday November 11th, you know why? Because the date and month will be 11/7.

Gotta agree with Snicker here they didn’t really confirmed it, but more or less teased at the possibility.
By the end of E3 =/= at E3. And most titles + new ones doesnt specifically state Halo 5 being one of them.
Though it’s still likely considering how we do know it’s coming this year thanks to MS’ statement earlier this month.
