"Halo 5 Reclamation" possible title Good Idea

With Microsoft and 343 not giving us an official title we are left wondering what it will be called?

Halo has now become a saga instead of a trilogy and with this the creators are given the opportunity to give each title within the saga a unique name. Instead of every title going on in numbers.

The numbers could still be there but with a title at the end such as “Halo 5: The Reclamation”

I pull this word from the ending of Halo 4 after the Didact states “The Reclamation has already begun, and we are hopeless to stop it.” The Didact also says “We” including himself if he had stated that the humans where hopeless to stop it he would cause the Reclamation which means to reclaim something, but this is not the case.

The Didact is alive and recovering and also with this as 343 claims being the darkest Halo game made he could be mentioning the flood or possible precursor return its not impossible to think that some precursors survived in other galaxy’s but then again they favor humans over Forerunners.

John in his new story will definitely encounter Doctor Hasely, Mendicant Bias, and the Didact again. Since cortanas chip was destroyed as we saw on the last mission of Halo 4 I believe that in the teaser trailer he will put mendicant biases memory and date on the chip he has on the trailer.

I do not believe that the title will be Halo 4.5 since it takes place in between Spartan Ops I just believe that is a really stupid name.

That name has already been suggested numerous times and is mediocre at best.

Haven’t been on the Forums in awhile so what’s been going on lately I do not know I just don’t want to see them stretching out number after number for the titles.

I think it should be halo 5:Rise of the Reclaimer. Just my personal opinion.

Every suggestion in this thread, except Halo 5, is lame as hell.

I’m pretty sure the sole reason that we’re not getting an official title is to build up hype for E3 which will in turn build up double the amount of hype for the actual game.

No, Halo 5 is all it needs to be. Any more than that, and we’re getting into complicated, and rather uninteresting subtitles that add nothing to the game’s name. The only games that had subtitles were spinoffs, and even then, those had simple and direct names. Halo 3 : ODST, or Halo : Reach. Just by looking at those names, you know what the game is going to be about. If a random person saw “Halo : Reclamation”, they would have no idea what exactly the game is supposed to be, nor that it’s the direct sequel to Halo 4.

So no, let’s just stick to Halo 5.

Man, there is so much hate on this thread.

There shouldn’t be names attached to the Halo games. Every game that has had a name attached hasn’t been a direct-sequel to the Master Chief story (Wars, ODST, Reach). They should stick with what works and is easy: HALO 5.

There is no point in adding a title that they will regret putting there in 3 years.
