I love Halo 5, but there is more wrong than right with it.
The servers can’t stay up for more than a day without going down. It’s the only game I play that actually crashes on me (other than MCC of course).
You can’t play arena solo without going against a full team. I’m pretty sure this is the only halo that’s ever been like that. They widened the rank-range when searching so I can go in Team Arena solo as a low onyx and play CLG if they’re searching. Makes sense.
Every map they’ve come out with is a much worse remix of an existing map. Except tyrant, a map that that’s so broken for objective yet they’re still trying to force it.
You almost can’t play this game for fun. Every playlist is ranked and rank is what everyone cares about. Win games or -Yoink-.
Warzone assault is the most broken thing I’ve ever played. Regular warzone can be fun, but I can only play it for so long. They give us 1 social playlist a week. ONE. I miss the old halo days of having 2 of almost every playlist, one ranked and one social. BTB is fun. Only certain people like griffball.
And where are doubles and team snipers?? Hell even MCC had those playlists. My guess is that they won’t add all these playlist because the population is low and more playlists will make it even harder to find games… but what do I know.
Ok I’m done. Of course this is all just my opinion, I’m not right or wrong. But I think most of us agree that this game could be great with some changes.
For the most part I still love playing this game. I did have a handful of games crash on me and kick me off to give me no REQ Points and take away any bonus I was using that game(I lost a legendary Warzone RP Boost once which pissed me off). I am in the process of trying to complete 100% which maybe blinds me to some of these faults as I try to grind out commendations and REQs to unlock.

Aren’t these kinds of edits getting old? I mean, it’s not like it is contributing to the conversation, and the OP is criticizing aspects of the game that deserve some criticism, such as the bad servers that Microsoft is using for their flagship, system seller game.

No matter how you look at it, the rants are always older than my edits. So if we could have less rants and more constructive threads then great! If not then expect more edits. If you mean old as in boring, feel free to send me a message on how to make them less boring, I am open to ideas/input.

I have to admit it was pretty funny, but it’s not like I’m just sitting here whining. Only reason it’s called a rant is because it’s my negative opinions of what 343 has done with the game. I would hardly say I’m complaining. I’m just pointing out real issues that a lot of the community agree with.
