Finding it hard to match own skill rating at plat 5 im vsing a team of onyx players 
Maybe putting it as no placements games but you start at bronze 1 and work to champion would be better to find games an matching skill wise
Silly how going up CSR levels nye impossible as only get given gold/silver players as a platinum

Hey all the ranking system is garbage the whole win go up loose go down system didn’t work in 4 it doesn’t work now. I play solo sometimes and when I do I down rank no mater how well I do. It’s horrible and they need to fix it to rank skill more than win loose with bits of skill mixed in. Someone who is the doofus on an awesome 4 man team will still rank up regardless of there skill and a solo player who gets put on a team of random people will rank down even if they get an awesome round but loose. 343 put together a good MP experience but they need to do a lot of tweaking to get the weapon balance and ranking right. Seriously how does a pistol beat a DMR or BR fix it 343.
Starting the pro’s at Bronze one wouldn’t solve the problem at all in my opinion. That would simply allow then to ‘sandbag’ the low ranked games until they progress up to the point that they are at now and then cannot find any games anymore. I agree this is something that needs to be looked at, but the proposed solution makes no sense to me.
im not too much of a fan of the ranking system for how it progresses. i have a similar thought process as DonZo. at least in halo 2/3 even if you won you still had to make your stats better to actually rank up. at the end of a match i was always on my toes about my stats because that was god compared to actually being inside of winning matches,

Win loss is better because you don’t have lone wolves trolling playlists and not playing the objective. Win as a team or lose as a team. If you read the books you would know this was the Spartan way.
This isn’t a book. I’m not trying to be brash but book lore has nothing to do with a video game and video game mechanics. The lore only really holds weight for the campaign.
truthfully i wish there was a weay you could get rank for personal greatness not just team bc its hard to find a team of players as skilled as myself sometimes
