So I just got my 10 wins in team arena with a 5.3kda but only 7 wins. It put in me gold 1. While my friend had a 4.4kda but had 8 wins and got platinum 1. Why in the world is it not entirely skill based. It’s stupid. I don’t get rewarded for doing good, as long as I win I’ll rank up. I even found someone with a 1.3 overall kda for almost every ranked playlist, but had onyx for each.
I know, I cant seem to get out of the gold ranks. So I’m gold 5 right now, and when I win a game I barely rank up, but when I loose one game I’m suddenly now in gold 4, and it takes FOREVER to get back to gold 5.
I was playing against Onyx/Champion players in my placement matches for FFA and I got placed in Diamond, In Swat which I am a platinum I had the focused search setting on and I once again was playing Onyx’s who had silvers on their teams. Competitive Halo is a joke there’s a reason this game has little to no community a dwindling population and so on. Games like CSGO and Overwatch don’t let mediocrity into their game.

The game apparently has the same daily population as Halo 3 had like 2 years after release or something like that. That’s quite a lot of players
