Pro
Competitive Ranking system
Based on win/los (single rating destroy teamplay)
You see how far you at the current Rank to reach the next one (But in H2 and H3 it always was a exciting moment after a game)
Pro level where only the best halo players get placed
Cons
The biggest problem are the first 10 games to get in your division. Me and a friend of my played every single game in stronghold together. I get right into semi pro and my friend in gold 1. My friend is a careful player and gives a lot of cover or other helpful support. As a conclusion he doesn’t have so much kills but also not so much deaths. He is very helpful player for the whole team and gets punished in a lower division.
You get matched in the first 10 games with players who already in a division like onyx.
Solution
We all loved the h2 and h3 ranking. Let us all start at the same level and then fight to the top. I think there should be a ranking system starting level 1 to 50 and at level 50 you reach semi pro and need to earn more points to get pro. If you don’t want to introduce a similar system just let us all start at the lowest division.

I agree with you but the new system also has some good parts.
Just make the rank like h2 and at lvl 50 you get semi pro and need to win more games to get pro.
I know in h3 or h2 there was a skill gap between a lots of lvl 50´s so with the pro rank you proof that you are one of the best 200 halo players.
this system is awful. Because someone with assist and no kills gets a higher rank than me for example, I got 15-20 per game. Rarely die. Then he gets 10 assists per game and lost like 4 in the 10 games and gets a higher rank?! It’s just stupid.

Halo 2 maybe, but Halo 3, NO!
The system in this game is almost exactly like Halo 3, the “skill” rating is dependant on win/loss, that is NOT skillful. These performance increases need to be based on the KDA of a player not just the win/loss, because win/loss proves nothing… You may be the best player in the world and if you get put on a terrible team you are likely going to lose that match.
the reason for the system being like this is so the rankings start out fair. Put the extremely good players where they should be. These days modern halo players like myself are really good most the time and we would rekt the level 1s or level 10s. They used this system because it seems quite fair. Bks will end up in recruit or silver or some bs like that. but the good will end up automatically in onyx -pro
