Not quite sure what the formula is in here. But how does someone who has less wins and worse stats place higher than someone who has more wins out of their games played. Does it go off of the fact you place within your team (1-4th)?
The whole system seems very weird to me. I placed silver when my stats both win/loss and k/d are better than those with Gold or even Onyx.
Same here. My friend and I played together our first 6 games but I had to work so I wasn’t able to finish mine until last night whereas he finished early on.
He received Onyx 3 and I got Silver 3. He won 9 of 10 and I won 10 of 10. His KDA was around 5.0 once finished, mine was around 6.0.
I think, since he finished earlier, he was compared to a smaller pool of players and placed inaccurately. I really feel like winning all 10 placement games with a KDA above 5.0 should merit higher than Silver.
I know it also takes into account the opponents and how you did each game, but we played 6 games together and more than half I did better than he did.
