I just played a ranked team arena game, my rank is plat 4 and I got stomped on by two champion players. This should not be possible. It happened because the other players on that team were gold. When there is a difference in rank that drastic, they should not be allowed to play ranked together. In league of legends, the game will not allow me to play ranked with my diamond friend because I am silver. Even if players that do this do not gain csr, it should not be allowed. the other team does not deserve this. Please learn from this and apply the changes to Halo Infinite.
Join the club bro… getting pub stomped very few games on Halo isn’t nothing new lol. Pretty sure it will happen in Infinite given time, although it may be less likely given the game populations.

There’s not many people playing ranked, especially outside of peak US times. Like N0mad NZ said, it shouldn’t be much of an issue in Infinite since the population will be large and they can have more restrictions without making it impossible to find matches.
i honestly hope they reconsider the whole approach they are taking to ranking at some point the CSR system is the absolute worst.

Why do you think this is the case? They’re definitely using some updated version of the current CSR system – it’s way more accurate than ever before.

it is defintley not more accurate. The only good thing the did for this rank system was make it to where you can actually get dropped out of the division you get placed in becasue early on if you got placed you werent able to go lower than 1 in that division no matter what. Being placed with people who aren’t playing at the same level as you are whether it be against champions or with silver or gold players when you are plat or diamond or onyx makes the experience of ranked not fun.

It actually is, and the data backs it up – there’s tons of discussion on the forums around this, specifically the matchmaking update thread. You are still referring to the matchmaker, whose goal is to make games evenly contested.
Teamfight Tactics is not much better with matchmaking. Look at the statistics TFT Meta Team Comps Tier List Patch 11.24.1 - SEEMETA.
