I just recently read this and thought I should link it, as it’s rather worrying for some, and although maybe unrelated my Warzone Bundle and Fall of Reach series icons have disappeared from the manage Halo 5 section, any ideas why? Also for reference my file Halo 5 file size is 46.1gb, 46.2 with the Marcom pack from the Halo Experience.
There was a previous stub file for pre-orders before 21st September, it was about 132Mb in size.
I think that was the one they were referring to. If the file size is 46.2Gb, I suspect you’re good to go for the patch.
As to the other parts, are they in the “Ready to install” panel of the Manager Game section?

There weren’t from what I saw, and I just noticed the other post about this too!
I pre-ordered mine last week. After it finished preloading, it said 0mb file. Bandwidth usage and HD space showed I downloaded a large file. After reading the 343 update about above 40gb your good below 40gb reinstall, I am now reinstalling. Guess I’m grateful I found this out before Monday. Maybe I jumped the gun on pre-loading too early and got hit by some technical glitch.

That’s just annoying you have to re-download it all over again! But at least they told us so we could fix it!

Well it seems they’ve both randomly appeared back in the manage Halo 5 section, a little bit odd, but at least they’re back!

after having this issue, and redownloading it for the patch…it did it again! 0gb. so i contact microsoft support and they run me through some pointless hoops and end up telling me to delete and reinstall for a THIRD TIME. and this is the copy i got with my halo 5 console.
343, wtf is happening? why is this required for me?

Damn, that’s just annoying, I hard reset my xbox a few times trying to get the patch, but then I just unplugged it when I went to sleep, and when I woke up the patch was already done, so it must have require the hard reset to finalise some stuff, or something like that, I hope you get yours working for tomorrow!
