Halo 5 Pre-order Bonus Question

Hi guys,

I’ve done some reading about what bonuses various retailers are offering for pre ordering the new Halo 5 Guardians game. I myself was wondering which retailer would provide me with the best bonus until I read that it is possible to earn them all in game and that the pre order bonuses only mean you have them out of the box as opposed to having to earn them traditionally.

So my question is even though its been said that these pre order bonuses (SMG w/ long barrel / Spartan Locke armour / Assault Rifle w/ recoil compensator etc) are all unlockable through play in the game, do we actually unlock that exact bonus? I mean some pre order guns look like they have a different skin (Bloodthirst etc). Are these skins available in the game through normal play too? I know these are mainly cosmetic but I’d still like to know because I’m having a tough time deciding where I want to pre order my game from!

You get the bonus as a weapon to use in Warzone. I believe that they are not skins. Skins are probably seperate and probably do not affect the 3D model. But take this with a grain of salt, nothing has been confirmed yet.

It’s like skin in the game CS GOW.
