If Halo 5 is bought digitally and pre-download, when will it be playable? If I’m on the west coast will it be midnight my time or midnight eastern time?

It’s gonna be midnight eastern time which is about 9 pm west coast time. I live in arizona so around 9:01 it will be playable for us.

Isn’t it 1201 am, eastern time universally? So everyone has it at the same time? If not they usually unlock 1201 am your time.

I’m from UK and I get all my games digitally. All my pre-ordered games including Halo Master Chief Collection unlocked 12:01am UK time and it also says it’ll unlock at that time. Gears of War may’ve released 1am since it said GMT and UK is in BST, I can’t remember for sure. So it’s no EST universal for everyone.
