Well I have a theory, it may be good or it may be bad, but I think with the trailers, the shows, and the movies 343 is building up agent Locke and I don’t see him dieing in the game, as well as the master chief. I could be wrong. But let’s take a page out of an old playbook and imagine the trailers with Locke and chef are longer and like in the playbook the mean to miss, by a sliver of course, and they actually help each other at this point, to save the universe like chief and arbitor has done. It would also lead into another game, where they would be able to go any route they would want, either start fazing chief out or simply just to add another Spartan to the mix, either way it seems like Locke and chiefs main objectives to save the universe are the same.
