I admittedly haven’t played Halo 5 much despite having it for several months at this point, but recently I’ve found myself enjoying Warzone firefight in it. However, sometime today, I began to have player sync errors that prevented me from accessing any customization options at all. I was playing fine several hours ago, but suddenly, and no matter how many times I attempt restarting my Xbox One or the game itself, I get player sync errors. I’ve got no idea why this happens, and it is very frustrating to experience. Doing research on this issue myself, I can’t find anyone that has had a similar issue within a reasonable time frame, and definitely can’t find a fix for it. If anyone can help me resolve the issue, it would be greatly appreciated, as I just want to enjoy the game, not have to worry about bugs and filling out support pages.
There is a thread pinned at the top of the Halo 5 Support Forum (previous page) for discussing server related problems. You are likely to get more responses from there.
Most of the time any one-off problems with the servers can be solved by just waiting for them to clear up themselves, or by completing a cold reset of your Xbox One. To perform a cold reset, hold down the power button (Xbox logo on the front of your console) for 10 seconds. Additionally, I sometimes find resetting Alternate MAC Address in network settings on your console can make the game a lot more responsive.

There was a server issue a few hours ago which should be resolved now.
