So yeah… I got bored and threw together a few custom firing noises for a Plasma Rifle. Considering it’s a Plasma weapon and I don’t have to simulate a realistic and loud reverberating crackle at the end like something with gunpowder would have, I thought it would be fun and easy to try.
Tell me which one you like best!

If you like a more ‘traditional’ Sci-fi approach, but still want the same simplicity of the old one, this should sound relatively satisfying (although to be fair, most of these will sound nostalgic…)
Maybe that doesn’t hit hard enough for you. How about less “pew pew” and more “POMP POMP.”

I love sample 3! If only the plasma rifle is in halo 5, and this was the sound being used!
