Picked one up today and saw that you can’t use it unless you get on the back of a mongoose.

False. It needs to be charged up before firing. Mongoose not needed.

First off, yes more weapons and stuff will be coming to Halo 5, but much slower than past months, secondly the updates we got aren’t even qualified as “free DLC” I like to look at it like what Minecraft does, free updates for everyone all the time! Maybe 343 will add some map packs in later on to pay for said updates, but we don’t really need DLC for a game that has microtransactions now do we?

Dont fully understand why its a plasma launcher. Like, the Caster is a fully functional replacement, its not like people don’t like it, why not a weapon thats actually different, a brute shot perhaps? Not that ive got a problem with it, it just seems a bit strange of a choice of weapon to re-implement.
