Does anyone have or know any information about the change of the digital copy that comes in the Collector’s Edition for a physical copy ?

I work for EB games here in Australia and recently got information that EB games will be offering a standard edition of halo 5 at no additional cost upon release of H%, now the catch to this that because of this the LCE in Australia has been pushed back from Oct 20th to Oct 27th to make this possible.
Now I;m not sure if this will EB policy only but considering gamestop in the US owns EB games I would not be surprised to see gamestop offer the same thing with the caveat being you will have to wait 7 days to get your LCE

Wait so you mean not just standard disc but case aswell? And what about the steel book?

At EB games here in Australia if you buy the LCE you will get everything in the LCE (including the steele case) plus an additional standard copy of halo 5 (disc and plastic case) at no extra charge
essentially you will get two copies of the game one digital one physical

Lol I saw that actually how wouldnt I he locked my -Yoinking!- post!
Been trying to figure out what was going on with the code for a while now. Wondered why not so long ago an extra Halo 5 copy showed up in my preorder status.
Personally I prefer the code - don’t need the disk to play. However I still want the disk to display on the shelf and use in the rare cases I LAN my xbox with someone and we have to sync the versions of the game.
Good show EB games. Perhaps taking a hit with the H5 sales but definitely helping customer loyalty!
Earlier this year with the Pokemon giveaway the EB sales people were good and gave multiple codes when I asked and weren’t trying to pressure me into buying anything either.
