Halo 5 PC full verison please

It would be really nice if they could just add all the multiplayer elements to the Forge Experience on PC at least to those who own Halo 5 digitally. It would be super awesome if you guys could do a full PC release of the game with mod support for Campaign but I bet you guys have other things going on. The thing with Forge Experience is that it is an amazing foundation for the rest of the game to follow in the future, the hardest part is already over you guys got the game running on PC so just add it to PC please. It could be a benefit to the community on Xbox that is shrinking if you just made Halo 5 a Xbox Play Anywhere title. A standalone release that works with the Xbox One servers would also be an amazing option. The PC community has not seen a halo game since 2, and its multiplayer was still active until the shutdown date. Heck Halo:CE pc still has people playing it. If you look at it from the business side Halo would be a smash hit on PC and it would give Xbox players more matches to play. There is nothing on PC like Warzone or Super Fiesta this would be a smash hit all across the board. Now would also be an amazing time to do it because Battlefield 1’s community on PC is itching for a new experience and this years COD was a flop. I would just beg that if you guys do this don’t kill it with the dreadful Windows Store, it is honestly a sad attempt at a market that needs to be abandoned. I have made a lot of points here so I will sum all of this up really fast. 343 should finish what they started with the Forge Experience and port over all of Halo 5’s multiplayer to the PC. This would hopefully be a standalone release that people could get on steam and would bring Halo back to its master race. The game would be able to connect to the Xbox one versions servers so community’s could stay active a lot longer. This should be relatively easy to do seeing as you guys already got the engine running on the PC (beautify I might add) and it would be cheap to make because the major parts of developing have already been completed. Anyone at 343 listening this is a Cash Cow that has yet to be milked I hope and prey you guys do this so the rapidly growing PC market can enjoy the amazing experience that is Halo 5. Thank you and I will see all of you on the battlefield

343 already said Halo 5 Forge PC is just that Forge and customs only, they have no plans to release Halo 5 for the PC in full. Not to mention Halo 5 Forge PC is free, they won’t make it the full game if it’s free, and due to Halo 5’s horrid publicity since launch, they can’t afford to put a price on it now, so maybe H3A will be a PC game as well as Xbox, but Halo 5 is pretty much out of the question.

As long as PC players aren’t matched up with console gamers in ranked play. It’s to easy to hack and mod from a PC and it would no longer be a level playing field.

That too, but you forget the “profit loss” 343 would suffer from. If the full Halo 5 was ported to PC and it was free, people would leave the xbox version immediately, mostly for the modding forge capabliities.

Also don’t forget the accuracy of the mouse compared to controllers. Mouses are way better than controllers when it comes to accuracy & aim. Makes noscoping way easier than ever.

Why would they have to put a price on it ? It could be play anywhere, like Halo Wars 2.

Because if they didn’t they wouldn’t make any money on it. It’s not supposed to be playable anywhere, as it is an FPS and is more branded to the console than PC.

It’s FPS, and is more branded to consoles ? There are many FPS games including Halo 2 that work very well on PC. They could easily make it play anywhere for digital owners, and they already have the money. There is no reason that Halo 5 cannot be on PC.

Aside from the fact that the xbox one’s only working Halo title atm is Halo 5. Besides 343 seem more inclined to work on the consoles than PC,as that’s pretty much what they were contracted for.

How do you know they’re pretty much contracted, or more inclined to work on consoles ? Microsoft is their parent company who license console and pc games. They were established in 2007 by microsoft to oversee the Halo franchise. That does not mean console only. Again there is NO reason Halo 5 cannot be on PC.

Don’t forget 343 are working on HW2 AND H6 at the same time, now that HW2 is out, H6 will take precedence, so H5 Full PC will most likely not happen.

We do not know what they are working on, or what is likely to happen or not. Yes, I imagine Halo 6 will be well be on it’s way, HW2 is not just 343i, Creative Assembly do that too. Halo 5 could easily be ported to pc with the windows play anywhere, forge and customs are already there. Creative Assembly could port Halo 5 as they are primarily pc-centric Again, there is no reason Halo 5 cannot be on PC. It is entirely possible to do.

Here comes the grouchy guy who doesn’t want a PC release because I just bought an Xbox One recently so I could keep playing halo.

It would be neat to see the games coming out on PC, especially since the local aspect has already been gutted I guess. Don’t mind not paying for LIVE.

I can think of two legitimate reasons why 343i won’t do a full Halo 5 PC port:

  1. Mouse is superior to controller, easier no-scopes, and bullet magnetism doesn’t help that problem much.

  2. Modding. The second someone gets the game open to view the files, all the modders will have a field day and considering that would most likely grant hackers access to possible future update gear, 343 doesn’t want that happening anymore than it already has.

They were established in 2007 by microsoft to oversee the Halo franchise. That does not mean console only. Again there is NO reason Halo 5 cannot be on PC.

Halo 5 could easily be ported to pc with the windows play anywhere, forge and customs are already there. Creative Assembly could port Halo 5 as they are primarily pc-centric Again, there is no reason Halo 5 cannot be on PC. It is entirely possible to do.

Once again, how do you know that 343i view those as legit reasons ? I have been playing Gears 4 against PC players, it’s pretty even and no one is modding. They could allow console gamers to use kbm, or make it that you need a controller to play on pc.

Niether of those examples are reasons it can’t be done, other games are already doing it, and the likes of Rocket League allows you to choose PC and, or console opponents, the same could be done with Halo, being on PC does not HAVE to be cross play. Again, Halo 5 can be ported to pc.
