Halo 5 : Pay-2-Warzone unbalanced even w/o money

I cant help but notice when i have been playing Warzone, the first team to capture the Middle base is 90% of the time going to win, since its a horrendous uphill battle to take it from the defending team. Ive been in a quite a few games where it seems like the team im on just stops caring after mid’s capped, stop using req cards all together. On the whole im not impressed with Warzone it seems more of a scramble to last hit NPC’s and get VP points rather then a war between two teams. The mode also gives you the feeling of insignificance since its borderline impossible to solo most of the high up NPC’s and you have less health then that of a Call of Duty game. Also i cant help but notice how the aiming feels way off then any other Halo game or even any other shooter ever made almost like its sluggish and not responsive to aiming at enemies.

Team that controls the bosses will win. Base points need to be buffed in my opinion

Yes it does seem like Warzone is heavily unbalanced. I have seen my team wining and yet somehow the opposite teams ends up with 4-6 tanks within a matter of minutes while my team seems to have no way to spawn higher up vehicles like the mantis, etc…

The sorting algorithm for matchmaking also seems to be broken at best, it seems to count how many req cards you have rather than count the rarity and tier of each req card. This winds up with entire teams blitzekreiging the entire map with ghosts, banshees, warthogs and more tanks than the whermacht at the height of WW2 while the only thing the other team can throw at it is needlers and shotguns

And the occasional railgun which always seems to be in the hands of an n00b… or if it’s a more skilled player, get sniped in a second of charging.

I agree the matchmaking isn’t ideal for warzone. But, having engineered several comebacks in warzone without capping the middle first. If you trap the other team in the middle base and get the boss takedowns, you will win. Middle base is helpful, but not a requirement in warzone.
