Halo 5 or MCC ARG?

So i noticed that the @phyl godce twitter account (from the H4 ARG) is active again, and there is obviously at least one IRC going on right now, does anyone have a link to these??

A Halo 5 ARG is incoming guenteed. Prepare Accordingly

Hi. This might be nothing and please forgive me if that’s the case but I think I’ve found something that could be linked to a possible Halo ARG or clues or something. I have always wondered about the “unknown crashed vessel” from the Halo CEA Terminal vids and today I was re-watching them. Anyway, - There is a part that mentions that the vessel repeats a distress signal every 72.83 seconds. I find this strange and think that the numbers have some significance so I started searching the internet. I typed “72.83 seconds” and one of the first websites that came up was this: anti-hacker-alliance.com/index.php?details=211.148.72.83
I had a look at it and it just seemed like nonsense. But then I noticed a few things:

  1. The ad blocks at the top advertise sunset overdrive for the Xbox. (I bought MCC and it has a card inside advertising Sunset Overdrive… i find this weird because it’s such a coincidence and also because I don’t think that a website that looks this bizarre would get approval to have xbox ad blocks)
  2. There were a few page numbers scattered around the place that seem to add up to “343”
  3. There is a forum attached to this website and it has 0 members.
  4. There is a search bar at the top… Possibly for inputting codes??
  5. There are places where you can login
  6. It shows tons of users and maps scattered throughout the page etc… (possibly halo players??)
  7. The logo at the top is like a “no hackers” type symbol… It kind of reminds me of the red symbol in a few terminal vids.
  8. if you google “anti hacker alliance” by itself - the results come up with a lot of 117. weird coincidence again.
  9. The site blocked my IP after I tried to make a fake account to see if there was more to it.

Please check it out and hopefully it really is something. If not… it was worth a try.

@AerospaceCrib4 - Nice work OP, but what you found isn’t ARG related I’m afraid. The numbers at the end of the URL you posted - 211.148.72.83 - are from an IP address. Just so happens the last 4 digits of it matches the numbers you were searching. Everything else after that is just a coincidence.
Noticing things where others normally wouldn’t is a good trait to have though, Section 3 are always looking for OPs willing to help, learn and share
