So I was thinking that Halo 5 or 6 could benefit from a Planetside 2 styled update. Like huge battles with hundreds of NPCs, Spartan companies, lone wolves, etc. Like imagine, everyone’s in huge urban city from the Halo city, like New Mumbasa or High Charity or something. Thousands of players are on one giant map, Spartans are duking it out on skyscraper’s roof top, while maybe some players are playing as Swords or Spartans driving Falcons, Pelicans, Banshees, and whatever. NPC marines are shelling away with mortars, Scorpion trains are running around like ants, and then a huge shadow is cast over the battlefield. Everyone looks at where the shadow is being casted. Either a kraken or guardian has spawned as a boss. Will all the teams team up to fight it? Or will someone use it to they’re advantage. I dunno, but I hope it’s possible.
Either that or the base building thing. Would love to have scientists, engineers, and shops being a thing. Creating new technologies, maybe allowing more customization, maybe allowing things like in Fallout 4, but with less trouble. Maybe even allow teams to raid and burn everything to the ground.
Oh and Spartan Clan fighting. Like AVA from Global Agenda. Only on a bigger scale.

I was just playing the new planetside 2 update (and I’ve thought about a halo version of planetside), and as soon as I saw the name of your list thought of ps2.
But, what if instead of a “larger” warzone, we had it really close to ps2. We have three factions. Covenant, human, and forerunner already…

Yeah. I would love for Knights to be MAX suits. (I haven’t really played PS2, my computer is garbage)

Same and one thing. With the customization did you mean upgrading gear? If so that is too much like other games and not enough like halo.

Nah. I guess in some instances. I meant like being able to access new armor parts, and accessing new and better ways to customize yourself other than some bad colors. LIKE A COLOR MATRIX WINK WINK COUGH COUGH NUDGE NUDGE CMON CMON 343I PLEASE

If we had it on both it would be great. Crossplay, mods, add-ons. Plus, do remember Halo was originally supposed to be on Mac. Thus it was meant for NONE of us.
Your idea sounds heavenly, but it won’t work on Xbox. At least not without sacrificing loads of other elements.
