halo 5 option to turn off sun glare

IMO sun glare has become a problem since halo 4 now in halo 5 I just want an option to turn it off, It wont affect anyone who likes it they can leave it on. It just would be nice for an option for the people who don’t like it.

good found someone who isn’t a fan either.

Yea there have been several spots in the game where half my screen is yellow due to glare, it does bug me when trying something creative.

worst part is is it can sometimes give a map advantage where one side has sun glare in their eyes while the others have shade making it way easier. this was also complained about in battlefront n battlefield. probably in cod games too but i dont play them anymore so i wouldnt know

yeah cod has gotten worse too devs think that light shafts make the game more beautiful which is true sometimes but i’d rather have a better experience then a giant light blinding me.

It makes the spartan’s colour hard to distinguish.

Actually turning the glare off would significantly help the player without the glare so its either on or off for everyone. While i do find it strange that apparently spartan Visors can’t do what my 50€ polarized sunglasses can even when lore says that they do, i choose to interpet it as a subtle middle finger towards people who argue “gameplay>lore” in regards to things like sprint.

thanks alot JJ Abrams now every game going for this lens flare look

HEY HEY UNSC budgets are hard these days with all the forerunners EMPing everything they had to make sacrifices lol

Except it’s a tactical advantage to have it off while others have it on…blinding only certain people wouldn’t make any sense.

yeah but the people who like it would rather have a bad feature in a game just because it looks pretty so those people can deal with the disadvantage its a win win for everybody.

Nothing is comparable to the burning shrine in destiny, the team spawning on the outside always has a huge advantage. Now look at that glare.

why just why game devs stop with these lighting effects it hurts game play.

lol, the sun is literally the entire skybox. aka the entire skybox is glare.

Dont get me wrong, Destiny’s -Yoinking!- gorgeous, but the the glares are kinda unfair for those with non-perceptive eyes in PVP. Back when I used to play that game, I would always use the super bright glares to my advantage. People should do the same in Halo 5.

Why do people keep bringing up Destiny? Nobody gives a -Yoink- about Destiny, we’re talking about Halo, the sun needs to be toned down on about half the maps in the game.

Dude spawning out there in Trials was an insta win. lol

This was the reason why I hated Orion, I think its name was.
