Curious if anyone had a chance to try H5 on Xcloud yet, and what you generally think about the controlling and latency.
I have on multiple occasions streamed Xbox to Windows 10 and after a few games I get used to the latency and it’s not really a problem. Xcloud seams viable so long as the input lag isn’t egregious. I would love to try it out once the iOS beta happens.
edit-grammar
I can, but now i m again in italy so the latency is x4, i can expect a ban for quit because of internet.

Indeed. Depending on where you live, or who your internet provider is, these things will vary drastically.
I played a little campaign last night (Battle of Sunaion). I was on 4G and in a bit of a black spot in the house, so connection was a bit sketchy and a little laggy at points but a still fun. Played a quick solo custom game today at work on WiFi and what a difference, still need to give 4G another go and 5G once o2 gets rolled out in the UK and I’m in a supported area (maybe London next month at XO19).
I was playing on a Galaxy Note 10 Plus - got a controller clip and USB cable arriving at work tomorrow, so I’ll give it another test again and see how it goes. So far though I’m loving it, my dream of playing Halo when and where I want is finally here!
Gave the gears campaign a quick go as well, that was pretty cool. Still to play some KI and finally give Sea of Thieves a go, that always looked fun
looking forward to trying this on IOS
I played one match of Halo 5 on xcloud. I was very impressed with the results but still prefer using my television. I think it would be great for campaign or different games all together. Anything not very competitive. My KD was very low when trying to shoot tiny little Spartans in the head on my pixel 2. Then again younger people sometimes prefer to watch TV on the their cell phones, maybe they would prefer to game this way also. It does add another way to play if your not in front of your TV which is awesome.
Im quite excited to try this when it comes out. I always figured this kind of stuff was so much farther in the future than what it currently is.

I figured this much. Online connectivity delay compounded with input delay sounds like a rough time in competitive real time games. Still an interesting prospect.

Did you ever find yourself in situations where you couldn’t identify the enemy due to screen size?

I gave it a try last night and im surprised that streaming halo 5 is almost as playing on console.
I have a Galaxy S10 Plus and at first I was constantly having network issues (WIFI 5GHZ) but then somehow it just fixed itself. There is a very small imput lag most of the time and sometimes it decides to run very smoothly with almost no imput lag and then down again. I had times where my screen was refreshing contantly and a few times the resolution drops, which is expected in a preview. Have you tried connecting your Note 10 Plus to a monitor or TV to enable Dex mode?
I tried streaming it on the Dex mode and it works, but im having trouble to expand the screen on the app, it crashes. It would be very cool if Samsung would provide support to the streaming app via Dex mode. That way we can play basically anywhere on any screen since playing on a phone is a little hard to see.
