Halo 5 on Xbox 360?

Please do this. According to many reviews, PS4 seems to be better than the Xbox One. Not only this, but PSN is free. It would be great if 343 made Halo 5 on Xbox One and the 360, similar to what Bungie is doing with Destiny. Feel free to post your opinion below.

PSN isn’t free anymore, and by bringing the next Halo to the 360, it would be a very watered down version, without many features it could have, dumber AI and worse graphics, also it could severily impact the gameplay as the 360 doesn’t have the One’s power. So, no.

Well many reviews are very wrong :stuck_out_tongue:

It would be cool to see it on 360 but I think MS will keep it exclusive to “The One”.

Even if it were to release on 360 we would get a poorer version compared to the next gen

People just dont like the xbox one for a couple things so they rag hard on it. The used games and the need to connect once every 24 hours. I find it funny though that PS says there wont be any DRM then turns around and says its up to the publishers for that… so theres a good chance there will be.

On topic, if they made halo 5 to play on the xbox 360 as well. It would be a very poor game considering. There moving up to blue-ray drive which means ALOT more information can be put onto the games and thus better AI, better graphics… Those are just among a few im sure.

only if the xbox one fails

They would esstentially have to recode the entire game just for it to release on 360 due to the different tech
which would negate the fact that they have a bigger team and this would have a negative effect on the game as a whole so I’d rather they didnt plus its not a smart buisness deal on certain angle so microsoft wont do it
Then again with what theyve done recently

  • First of all, I did actually find that the PSN on PS4 isn’t free. My fault for saying it was free.

  • Second, I don’t really care if there is dumber AI and worse graphics. Halo 4’s graphics and AI are fine with me if that’s all they can do.

  • Third, I think it is a reasonable possibility as the “extra features” will most likely not severely impact the game.

This could happen! Microsoft said that “we give the xbox 360 1st party support until 2016” Halo 5 and Halo 6 could come to the Xbox 360! JOY!

I don’t think so.

No. They’re focused on X1. Times are changing.

Microsoft isn’t going to let one of their game studios make a version of the game so people can jump ship to their main competitor. Exclusives are really the primary differential between Xbox and PlayStation.

The Xbox One itself would have to fail, which looking at how well its recovering after the initial presentation, is unlikely.

Can’t see that happening. I am getting the Xbox One just for the fact that I can enjoy more upgraded games. In fact, I am done buying Xbox 360 games. If I had a choice between a game that came out for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, I would buy it for the Xbox One, just because Xbox One will allow a larger multiplayer, better graphics, and better online support. Plus, I agree with what many people are saying. If 343 released Halo 5 for Xbox 360, then it would be extremely watered down compared to the Xbox One. Because Xbox One is battling the PS4, I’m pretty sure Microsoft will be concentrating on Xbox One. So yeah, in order for the Xbox One to truly have a lead on PS4, Halo 5 should be exclusive for Xbox One only.

If you’re buying a PS4 that’s your decision and you’ll have to live with it’s consequences: one of which being not playing future Halos. We’re not gonna have Halo 5 be a current gen game that can work on current gen hardware just because PS4 fans want it all. Sorry, bro.

If Halo 5 fails, then the Xbox One fails, so that would be an awful idea.

I hope this does not happen. I don’t want the game to be held back in anyway. Halo for Xbox One not being a launch title is even more of a reason not to do this. I would be surprised if it was even considered, but stranger things have happened.

I know it’s Halloween season and all but please don’t bring old threads back from the dead.

Thanks.
