Will they be releasing halo 5 on PC?
I haven’t heard of a PC version. But, if they do, it will most likely be on only Windows 10 platforms
Also, wrong section lol
Hope no. It must be created to run only on Xbox One to deliver us the best game possible (it is easier to develop a game for just one platform, don’t you think?)

The Xbox One and PS4 are both designed and built to be standardised PCs. This is to help the porting of games from PC, probably mostly for Indie games, but nevertheless, building a game for one system and then porting it has never been easier than it has this generation.
Considering Halo is one of the main (if not only) selling points in regards to exclusives for the Xbox One, I doubt it. But then again, they’re releasing the first Gears of War on PC.

Well, Gears 1 was released on PC a while ago as well. Just saying.
No
Nope, but you can play from the XOne to PC with the streaming thing. Halo will never come to pc again (100% sure)

Huh…that’s interesting
Best case scenario I could see it being released 2017 when by then Halo 6 will be on the horizon. Exclusives don’t really matter as much once you get past the pre-release hype, release, and maybe holiday of release year. By that point MS will have gotten the large majority of sales its going to get and the biggest incentives for getting an X1 will be future titles.
Bottom line is that an eventual PC port is not going to negatively effect the X1’s future, but it would help keep the series and the specific titles played and relevant for longer than they would have otherwise.
Halo PC ports just got thrown off the rails by the shoddy Halo 2 port, shoddy exclusive OS, and was tied to a shoddy service Games for Windows Live. Basically MS gave the PC market nothing worthwhile and then decided PC Halo ports didn’t matter after people refused to buy their crap.
Xbox one exclusive. This has been known for a long time. Halo is the flagship of xbox.

The main problem was Halo 2’s graphics were outdated in 2007 and it was exclusive to an overhated OS. My brother got it after Halo 3 by the time they revamped GFWL and since my brother’s 360 didn’t get internet till months later we played Halo 2 PC and it was great besides the small playerbase. On Saturday mornings that’s what I was playing while voice chatting with my cousin playing Halo 3 on his 360.
Maybe some day, but probably only after Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and 4 are ported. So you have a while.
With Halo online coming out i doubt the console games will be moved over.

Your joking right?
Of course they are. I mean, they haven’t officially announced it, but from the lack of Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and 4 being on the PC, it would make perfect sense to fill that gap with Halo 5.
