Same here. I really want 343 Industries to release Halo Wars 2 on Steam especially with the Halo Master Chief Collection, Halo Wars Definitive Edition, Halo Spartan Assault and Halo Spartan Strike getting a lot of positive reactions on Steam.

There was an article that said the devs have tested halo 5 on the new engine, so i guess itâs possible that h5 might get a pc release at some point, otherwise, why test h5 on it?

Yeah I feel the asme Infinite looks good and I thin kIâd enjo yit but I doubt Iâd fully b eable t oapperciate it without playing 5 first
I would hope so, it would be nice for PC players to eventually have access to the entire collection of games.

It wouldnât make sense for the entire MCC and then Infinite to be on PC but not 5. I would expect them to release 5 at some point. Hopefully it will be with Infinite because it also wouldnât make too much sense releasing it after Infinite. The story may not be great at all but that doesnât matter. There are people like myself who never bought it on Xbone and want to play the entire campaign in order. Having a gap between 4 and 6 and then going back to 5 is not very good. I would rather delay buying Infinite than play the campaign out of order.

A 2021 release for Halo 5 Guardians is probably realistic at this point. I donât wanna be a downer⌠but at the same time, 343 is going full tilt on Halo Infinite not to mention still porting Halo 3 ODST and Halo 4 (as of the time of writing this post) to PC. Porting Halo 5 in full to PC could only logically take place after they finish porting the rest of MCC. Otherwise theyâd be spreading themselves too thin; either taking away from the MCC porting team or Halo Infinite team (and arguably, if I were 343i I wouldnât want to do either right now).
On a positive note, it wouldnât make sense for them to not port Halo 5 at this point; the rest of the Halo games are already (or en route) on PC.
2021 is the most realistic right now, unless they just out of the blue announce Halo 5 is coming to PC
