I’d like Halo 5 on PC since I play with people who don’t have Xbox and haven’t played Halo games before. So far we’ve just reached Halo 3 campaign (they like to stop and smell the flowers). Doesn’t matter if it would be part of MCC or stand alone as long as it gets ported.

You will need to make sure its supported by Microsoft in your region, you will need an Xbox controller for you PC, you will need a stable internet connection with 10Mbps down minimum, and you will need al least 1 month of Gamepass Ultimate to use the Cloud Gaming during that time. Of course I would suggest canceling Gamepass after you have gotten though H5, but that’s just my 2 cents.
Tried this with 500 mbps, it was incredibly cool loading up halo 5 without even downloading it. Unfortunately all that excitement went away once I started playing the campaign and my game was stuttering hard, graphics would only render about 480p maybe 720p at best and the input lag was poor as well.
Still it is the best option for anyone who desperately wants to play it and doesn’t have access to an xbox console.
Since I got my new PC I have been playing the MCC more on my PC than on my Series X. I would of like to see H5 release on PC eventually. I understand that Infinite is the focus now, but it would be fun to play it with better visuals and performance since it never got a One X or Series X upgrade,

I don’t even understand why it isn’t there already.
It’s not like they have to make a full conversion like the MCC games. The Halo 5: Forge mode was (and still is) already available on pc since the release of the game. All they had to do was expand it with the campaign and multiplayer, which doesn’t seem a big of a stretch when the core of the game already is working.

The team needed to do with work are all working on Infinite, no resources to spare to carry it out. The company that worked on Forge for halo 5 are also working on infinite
Maybe when they are done we can get a port.

You should try actually reading through a thread next time instead of posting questions like this, if you had read through only this last page of this thread, you would see that Halo 5 is not on PC at all as Microsoft has not ported it yet. If you want to play Halo 5 then you have 2 options, 1st is to get an xbox, 2nd is to get Gamepass Ultimate and use xbox cloud gaming from your PC see here for requirements https://www.xbox.com/en-US/play

I hardly doubt that 343 will even bother with Halo 5, they’re going to be working with Halo Infinite for the next 10 years. Plus, why do y’all want to play 5 so badly? You’re not missing anything remotely fun about that cash-cow of a Halo title. The campaign is god-awful, the multiplayer is is over-done, Warzone lacks and form of content, the game’s REQ. system is pay-2-win, and, on top of that, the armor system completely sucks; the armors themselves are fugly. I understand that you’ve never played Halo 5 before, but coming from a guy that plays Xbox, you’re not missing anything remotely exciting coming from 5. I’d recommend just either playing something else better or just wait till’ Infinite arrives.

Coming from another guy who plays xbox, I respectfully disagree with you. I thought Halo 5 was really good even though it deviated from some of the previous norms, and I am sad it did not get the love it deserved from 343. That being said, I do think that Infinite will be a massive improvement over all the Halo games.
So, answer me straight…Is there any way I can play Halo 5 on PC. I have Halo 5 Forge downloaded from the Microsoft store but every time I boot it up is just shows a blank grey screen and nothing else. I REQUEST HELP FROM MY SPARTAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Kind of want to revisit the campaign and actually give the multiplayer a go if at all possible.
PC shouldn’t be able to play Halo. Just my opinion. It’s a console game. Always has been.
