Halo 5 on PC

If Microsoft really wanted to pioneer the move to establish a link between the Xbox and PC in the Windows 10 platform, imagine if Halo 5 was available on PC and will allow both platforms to co-exist in the same lobby. I think that would be sweet.

BEFORE you say it, MKB users and controller users can co-exist. It doesn’t matter what control preference we have–people can dominate over each other regardless of the control method. Also, even if MKB users were skilled, they are separate from the lower ranks thanks to the ranking system.

Yeah, Halo 5 on PC would be awesome, sadly, it’s not going to happen for a long time, if not ever. Plus, I want Halo 3 on PC first.

And if MKB users are going to co-exist alongside controller users, it’s going to have to be in social environment. Make a Social suite and a Competitive suite, similar to CS:GO.

No, just no. Its one of the main Xbox exclusives, if they just released it on PC then most people will just get it on there instead of investing in an Xbox One. Heck i would sell my Xbox One instantly and just get it on PC…

Yeah, that’s a good thing… PC be better.

I don’t care, the Mouse allows such an advantage over aiming on gamepads, even with the ranking system, it would be seas of complaining, and issues. So while the concept of Halo 5 on PC is nice, definite no to cross-platform multiplayer.

Some might move to PC, but in the long-run, I think that PC and console users being in the same lobby will enhance the game with higher populations and more chances of meeting friends. I have some good friends on Steam and I asked them about Halo 5 being on PC and they would love for that to happen.

Well, I can see a casual setting similar to CS:GO, where MKB and controller users can play against and with each other. Then, in the competitive ranked playlists, keep each platform as far away from each other as possible.

Hmm, you never know!

And that’s a bad thing for you how? Unless you meant to imply that’s why MS wouldn’t do it. But that said, we said the same thing about Ryse, DR3, Quantum Break, and so on…

The punchline though is that I’m primarily a PC gamer and I’m not sure as I would get Halo 5 on PC. You know MS would lock it to their own crappy store and GFWL 2: Electric Boogaloo, as well as their glorified spyware OS. The xbone may be a piece of crap, but at least its telemetry has no valuable or lucrative information on me to sell to the highest bidder.

Its a bad thing because i would rather play on a console then sit at a desk playing on a PC. I don’t care which is more powerfull or which is better and never will care. I play games for fun and enjoyment, not for graphics and amazing ultra smooth 60fps…

> Ohh i don’t know, cut down on Xbox One sales? A main exclusive game like Halo can have impact like that, GoW is already going to PC, if Halo’s next then its only a matter of time before the others follow and then theres no point in there even being an Xbox One. God knows how no ine can see this, its common logic.

And I reiterate, that’s bad for you how? You’re the consumer, you’re the one who wins with more freedom. Unless you have a whole bunch of stock in MS or something.

No it would just kill the Xbox off and move everyone to PC. A main exclusive game like Halo can and will have an impact like that. GoW is already going to PC, if Halo’s next then its only a matter of time before the others follow and then theres no point in there even being an Xbox One. That was most likely a pre-rendered video. Fact is, streaming Xbox games to the PC wasn’t a thing back in July 2015. At least, I don’t think it was.

So I guess you haven’t seen this yet? PCMR for the win.

Microsoft can maintain Xbox brand even they stop producing console. Xbox can be an app on Windows that only allows Xbox controllers only… More Xbox customers than PlayStation then.

Wow…no… M&KB is way better than controller. It’s not even close. M&KB emulation is the only time that the difference between the two may be less significant (or non existent).

For me personally, Windows 10 was just a scam anyway, so I’ve given up on the idea of getting Microsoft store games.

I think that the biggest issue for people who dont want a PC is simply that they lack the knowledge to improve their own PCs, I mean sure one could just buy a Alienware PC and play all the games until the PC is no longer fit for the newest game for the next year, unlike xbox one which use the same features until a new update or console model appear, but changing the plataform to lead people to Microsoft´s roots.could be a good idea if they show us the good way streaming can improve when playing in other places outsides of our consoles, like 4k graphics, 60fp etc…

I would absolutely love that as it would help me introduce a lot more friends to the franchise , P.S. Its population would rise I know that there are many if not several ups and downs but if they ever do manage to pull it off then we would all be able to accept that MS is more than just a money grooving company. P.S. Easier to make and record machinimas
