So I just got to thinking, every other halo will be on PC including infinite. This got me wondering if Halo 5 will ever be coming to PC seeing as without it there will be that gap that, I’m assuming, sets up the plot for Halo Infinite. It just seems quite odd that 343 would leave a gap in the main story arc of Halo
If you never played halo 5 you won’t be missing much. It has the poorest writing of all the halo games and the story itself has its own plot holes that make no sense. If you think you absolutely must know it, watch a youtube video of a summary ofthe story after playing halo 4. If you haven’t played 4 yet, if you have just watch a video on the story of 5 to be kept up to date.
Maybe they will bring it over to MCC far down the line, cause the multi player is actually fun and pc players should get to try it. The story is just where the ball was dropped so far it fell through floor.
I don’t know if 343i will want to invest time and resources into porting H5 to PC, especially if Halo Infinite will build on what Halo 5 created.
I don’t think Halo 5 will be coming to PC anytime soon. I think Halo 5 Forge is on PC, but I could be wrong.

I don think 343i have planes to add halo 5 to Steam, windows store, etc.
There are currently no plans to bring the full Halo 5 game to PC. That is 343’s stance on it at this time.

Halo 5 forge on pc is just to make it easier for map creators. Its playable but really is only designed to create and test maps rather than actually be used for normal play.
343 Arent going to be port halo 5 to pc, at least not yet, that is, with halo infinite and all.
I think it will be announced on Xbox Inside in London from November 14th to 16th, once the work on the MCC ends, they will start on Halo 5

I can’t see them bringing H5 to PC. MCC has a reason to be on PC since they are a bunch of classic games in one neat package. Plus, there’s a lot of work being done for it. Infinite is a continuation of H5 as far as plot goes, so why would they bring an older game to PC when they have a new game coming out in a little over a year?

I had never considered this. The only thing keeping H5 alive right now is that it’s the most recent Halo. After Infinite comes out this game has zero replayability… What a side installment for the franchise.
If they don’t port it across it will hold the rather interesting cult classic status of the only halo Xbox exclusive title .
Halo 5: Forge by far is the only Halo 5 game on pc. If you are talking about the whole game friend, it will be more convinient to players who do not own an xbox, but why? Halo 5’s campaign is not the best ( and no, I do not want to explain why because I have already done it in other numerous topics) and it is only well known for its multiplayer. Mabye if 343 not only made a game not only for forge and custom games, but also included warzone and everything else, exept for campagin.
But Halo 6 is coming 2020, so this kind of project is not that relevant because 343 is trying to focus on giving players “infinite possibilities”
